A different angle to the story was nice, and I loved the way Ryan and Olivia overcame differing opinions of each other with a side of sizzle the left me panting. Starring the matchmaker herself, Olivia, and one of her more difficult clients, this book focuses on how Ryan finally gets his perfect match and Olivia learns what it is to fall in love on the job. Olivia has the best job - exclusive matchmaker - but when she has a client she is completely unable to match up with a girl, she has take on the challenge of Ryan herself. It's perfect timing though as she also needs a date for her fathers wedding. Two birds one really hot retired football player. Ryan has been waiting for Olivia's matchmaking service to find him the right girl for what feels like forever. Her type of matchmaking is one that is for appearances only. Need a date for fundraisers, check. Need a date for a family wedding to avoid their matchmaking, check. But he needs a specific, savvy type of women to give him some steadfast credibility for upcoming business meetings. What eh really wants is Olivia and no one else will do. Good thing she is now searching for a date for her fathers wedding. Well-written, well-paced and another fabulous, quirky, funny, steamy and romantic read from one of my favorite authors - enjoy!Wild

Ryan Callahan was a pleasant surprise, as each layer was stripped away, showing more of the man behind the legendary player. Even more so, it was so much fun to see a different side of Olivia Chambers, who has always been so reserved and mysterious in previous books. The two together undeniably complemented each other, creating a strong and sassy duo and even better story. In Wild Card, Monroe places the matchmaker herself, Olivia Chambers, into the ‘dating’ world that she’s created, finding herself in need of a plus one for another one of her father’s weddings, but this time, there are even higher stakes due to the nature of Olivia’s relationship with her soon-to-be step mother, so Olivia’s need for a date trumps her unease over teaming up with one of her fussiest clients, ex-NFL star, Ryan Callahan, and while these two may not see or even understand how quickly things heat up between them, readers see through their polar opposite personalities and the series of misfortunate but nonetheless comedic situations they finds themselves in for what they truly are - a perfect match. Karma really must have it in for Olivia for her father to choose her college nemesis as his new bride, and that idea is confirmed as Olivia deals with bridezilla and finds herself in a number of chaotic situations, all resulting from people and an environment that seem hellbent on making Olivia suffer. Olivia has been trying to find someone for her fussy client, Ryan Callahan, former NFL Quarterback, with no success. Olivia needs a date to her father’s wedding to a Bridezilla, who was her college roommate. Olivia proposes a quid pro quo, she will accompany Ryan to his business meetings,and he will be her date for the wedding festivities. Like all of Lila Monroe’s books, this has a lot of humor and great characters. Thoroughly enjoyable book. I received an ARC of this book from the author for my honest review.Amazing!!!

The way she puts so much humor in it, some crazy antics (wedding from hell/bridezilla), an uber hot guy who you just can’t help but drool over (Ryan), and an amazingly smart woman (Olivia). I love reading how it unfolds, how it all makes sense in the end. I can’t wait to read the next one!!!A fun, fiesty, and highly entertaining must read!

Each and every book Lila Monroe writes just gets better and better…I cannot get enough of her fun and sizzling romances! Like the previous books in the Billionaire Bachelors Series, Wild Card starts out as a business arrangement. But Olivia, the powerhouse woman who usually sets up the arrangements, is in a need of a suitor herself this time. And who better to fill that need than ex-NFL QB (and utterly gorgeous) Ryan Callahan–who just so happens to need someone to help him woo some investors. Win-win, right? But once these two polar-opposite characters spend more time together, their “professional” relationship quickly shifts from business to pleasure. *squeal* Wild Card packs so much within its pages! Fun, witty, passionate, hilarious, and romantic, Olivia and Ryan were two fantastically written characters that matched an amazingly penned love story. Their red-hot chemistry was evident from page one, but it was their intelligent and quite comical batter made this story so much more engaging and provocative. And Ryan sure gave Prince Charming a run for his money for his heroism in saving Olivia from the ridiculous situations she was put in. Seriously…that boy needs a cape, and ONLY a cape (ya’ know what I’m saying!). I loved this book. Everything about it. Wild Card, in my opinion, is the best book in the series, so far! *sigh* Undoubtedly swoony, sexy, and heartachingly sweet, this book will leave you wanting more….and more! An absolutely fun, fiesty, and highly entertaining must read! 5 Stars!
