Story is good, poor working gal, rich boss. A lot the same, but with some twists. Was a good read until “the end”.

Love them all!!

I resent books that do not end properly but want you to purchase the next book in order to let give you the rest of the story. This is cheating you at the highest level. You actually purchases less than a complete book in the first place. I never purchase the next book in cases like this, no matter how much I enjoyed what I have read so far.

I really hate it when a book leaves you with a cliffhanger. The story built and built and then after a climax - cliffhanger

If I’d known it wouldn’t end till I bought the next book, I would’ve skipped it. Taking a pass in case the next one is just a tease.

Very good book, good pacing, with some hot, steamy bits.

I loved this book, the plot, the characters and the author’s writing style. The story is amazing, exciting and fabulous. The interaction between the two main characters is fantastic, sensual and so so hot. We are left waiting to see what has just developed with the sec tape appearing. Can’t wait to read more.

I liked the first 16 pages but Apple Books won’t let me go any further and won’t let me purchase it. :(

I just wish it had more of a slow burn affect to it, but I still enjoyed. I also would’ve appreciated if the main character didn’t go through so much unnecessary verbal abuse, but the book was still very good.

Wish I would have known that it ends on a cliffhanger

I hardly leave negative reviews but this book compelled me to say how confused Ms. Monroe leaves me. Even though most of this book was predictable and just raunchy, I saw a glimmer of hope in her writing talents. This story hinted at the author’s ability to write well developed characters until she gave into cliques that always ended with inappropriately timed and unneeded graphic sex scenes. I hope Ms. Monroe gives herself the benefit of the doubt with her future work and gives her characters and their stories time to develop so as not to be such a superficial read. I could see myself liking the “every girl” Lacey if the author allowed her to have more depth and strength. The book needs more real life and more romance, not rewritten stolen scenes and plots from clique movies. I hope to see stronger more complex female characters that aren’t just preoccupied by sex when they’ve supposedly spent their lives developing into intelligent, capable, and strong women. I’m only disappointed because I saw glimmers of better writing abilities throughout the book and characters that were almost thought out.

Funny romcom but had a lot of dead space with in the head main character experience. Made book long and disappointed there was a cliffhanger.

I usually love this author but this book was filled with a lo of fussy details that didn’t really seem relevant to the story. And just when the story finally starts to show focus its to be continued! Very frustrating

I don’t like any book with a To Be Continued at the end (which clearly isn’t the end). Sorry, but just feels like I wasted my time.

I absolutely loved this book & can’t wait to read the second one

Not a stand alone. I really dislike books like this. This storyline is wonderful but you need to purchase multiple books to end the story.
