5By rloves2readMan did I love this dark Cowboy series! I seriously hated to the Trails of Sin Trilogy end! Each of these three books were so good that it hard to pick which was my favorite Cowboy, but if I had to pick, I would say that Lorne came out ahead because he has had to live the last several years of his life in prison for protecting the ones he cares most for. Lorne and Raina are two perfectly matched broken people who come together to heal each other. Their story is full of all the angst and dark twists that Pam Godwin is so brilliant at writing. I highly recommend reading this 5 star series for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Note - This trilogy should be read in order, even though each book is its own standalone.Phenomnal!

I didn’t think this book could make me feel more than the first in the series but it more than suprassed it! It was hard to read at times, hard to push through the pain that it made me feel, the horror, the emotions but that is what makes this book so special. It was able to bring me to my knees and yet showed me what true unconditional love can do and how it can heal and make bonds that can never be broken. An incredible book to end an incredible series! This was a series I couldn’t put down and will be recommending left and right due to how great it is!Exceeded my expectations!!

Lorne is incredibly misunderstood after he’s released from prison by his whole family except Raina, she truly sees him and Lorne doesn’t know what to do with his newfound feelings for this dark and mysterious woman! Raina is guarding herself because of all the things she’s been through and Lorne is deteremined to break down those walls! Ugh, such a hot and steamy book! 😍Suspenseful

Neither has had it easy while Lorne was locked up now he has to adjust to life outside of his small cell. Raina is a fierce woman. She is strong beyond belief, how she survived what she has, it has given her a skewed view of some things. It’s a game of tug of war between these two and I loved it!Beautiful series

I fell in love with this series from the beginning and now that it’s over, I’m heartbroken, but it’s the best book hangover because you finally see how through loyalty, love and family bring it all together. Lorne is another smokin hot cowboy, just released from Prison and trying to find his way in the world, without looking over his shoulder all the time. He loves for his family never broke, even though he’s broken himself until he finds someone in his bed and his life changes. Raina is strong, beautiful, and sassy. She has been through a lot and it only made her stronger. We find her wrestling with her past and fighting for a future she knows she wants, but is afraid it will end in heartache if she gives in, but she overcomes everything to see love she deserves. We are told the rest of the story and it came together so good and it makes you want more, you can’t put the book down, it’s a page turner. As I read this book I held my breath in places and could feel the love these characters have for each other. Pam Godwin never disappoints, I’ve read several of her books and wow this girl can write and the story never leaves you.5 “I hear you” Stars!!!

5By CoteTajaPam Godwin is a wizard, she makes you love thing you normally wouldn’t. She can make any subject interesting, hot, sexy, twisted and oh so good! This women just knows how to write a good story, how to get you wanting more, flipping those pages, staying up late in the night just to finish another chapter. Once you start you can’t put her books down. Booted is no exception! This is third book in her Trail of Sins series. These three books need to be read in order so you don’t get spoilers. Each book is about different couple but the storyline carries on from the first book and ends in third. I think Booted might be my favorite one of three, but I’m not 100% sure as each one is so good in their own way. Lorne and Raina are my favorite couple. These two tortured souls are just lost out there in this cruel world. Both of them caring lots of secrets and daemons inside them self but neither wants to talk about it. They struggle to adjust to the world they are in. Lorne just got out of jail after 8 years and Raina she is trying to adjust to normal life after she had been abused for a long time. They are both very strong characters, very stubborn, but also caring at the same time. I love all the bickering between these two, all their stubborn argues between them and passion that is hidden deep inside and neither one want to show it. So as I mentioned this is the end of the story. You will see what happens with all three couples, what happens with “bad guys”, who survives and who doesn’t. You will get answers to all your questions and a nice little look into the future. I truly enjoyed this book and the whole series. I am highly recommending it as well as other Pam Godwin work. Her writing is incredible and her stories are amazing. Get your copy and enjoy the ride with these sexy cowboys!!!!
