Description

"What began as an unstoppable explosion of passion forged into something pivotal, essential, and more."

Not a fan of historical romance? Unsure about reading a steamy pirate love story? To help you decide, this is a taste of the world and characters in SEA OF RUIN.
It can be read before or after the full-length, stand-alone novel. It doesn't spoil the main story.

"Sea of Ruin is precisely what I LOVE in Dark Romance. Elegant writing that paints a romantic picture, swoon-worthy anti-heroes who make aggression oh so seductive, and a plot that balances on brutal and breath-taking. Couple that with well-researched history and pirates...yeah, it's a five pieces of eight gold stars from me. LOVED IT!" ~ Pepper Winters, New York Times bestselling author

"Beautiful, soul-shattering, and utterly delicious." ~ Ilsa Madden-Mills, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and USA Today bestselling author

"Lush and all-consuming, delicious, and so beautifully, beautifully penned. This is one book I will never, ever forget." ~ Mia Sheridan, New York Times bestselling author

"Skillfully executed, penned to perfection ... Sea of Ruin will leave you breathless. READ. THIS. BOOK!" ~ Jewel E. Ann, USA Today & Wall Street Journal bestselling author

King of Libertines is a delicious, little taste of Bennett and Priest and how they meet. I was immediately pulled in, eagerly devouring every word, savoring every bit of their lust and passion. Imagine the sexiest, most virile, and possessive pirate ever, and you’ll get Priest Farrell. Bennett is a BA captain of her pirate ship. She kicks ass and demands respect, and gets it. Bennett and Priest together? Intoxicating. Powerful. Their sizzling chemistry made me tingle in all the right places. In this short yet hearty story, Ms. Godwin created a perfect pirate world, gave me characters who captured my heart, and made me crave more. An outstanding beginning to the Sea of Ruin.
