4By 9Aimee9Man oh man I’ve read, since the beginning, pretty much all of Jamie McGuire’s books. From the Providence series to Red Hill to the Maddox boys. This book is very different and I really enjoyed reading it. Jamie is such a great storyteller when it comes to creating characters and drama! I can’t wait to see what comes next with this little series.In my feelings

5By JessicaBlair7Jamie McGuire does it again. This story sucked me in from the very beginning when we met Darby and kept me engulfed until the very end. Jamie McGuire beautifully creates struggling characters that the reader will want to simultaneously shake some sense into and comfort with a tight hug. Darby is strong, independent, and a little bit of a mess. Trex is so caring, but his alpha male role isn’t helping his case. It's amazing to see how those characteristics interact, and create the ups and downs of the relationship development. The development of the characters, and their relationships with those around them, were done in a way that I’m looking forward to the rest of this series. Here’s to hoping Naomi gets a book! NOMES! While I knew there would be some sort of “show down,” I wasn’t bored waiting for it to happen. I loved getting to know Darby and Trex along the way. The action thrown in here and there just spiced up the story. You need to read this book, and I need time to pass so I can read the rest of the series!Disorganized
2By J-rod0901I fell in love with beautiful disaster and all the Maddox brothers but this book was not good. I had a hard time following along and got bored easily. The dialog between Trex and Darby seemed disorganized and childish. They also got off topic when they were discussing their past or their feelings. Kinda disappointed in this book.Love it

2By JessR173Was a huge fan of her entire series, couldn’t put the books down fan, of the Maddox family and I felt this story was just disorganized, hard to read and kind of boring. Really bummed but will still pick up the next one.This book spoke to me! Soooo many feels!
5By Twilighters DreamI was curious about Trex from his appearance in the Maddox Brothers books. He was so mysterious and I wondered who the heck “his people” were. I even remember not liking him at one point. Now that I’ve read it, I have to say that he was NOT what I expected. He was pretty freaking cute, has a great sense of humor and really appealed to me. I absolutely love him! And Darby... Gah! I related to her on so many levels. Both of them spoke to me deeply. There were so many times that I felt like one or both of them were speaking directly to me. I had to pause several times while reading and just let what they said sink in. This book came at just the right time in my life and I absolutely loved and adored it. Amazing read. I highly recommend it. Trex and Darby are definitely high on my list of favorite McGuire couples!Omg!!!

Darby is strong, and kind and powerful and she finally finds her voice again in this book. Darby is my role model and I wish that I had the courage to do what she did. And Trex.... swoon. He is so.... i can’t even find the word to describe him. He’s just AMAZING. read this book!!! Seriously! Jamie you have done it again!!!!Trex & Darby have stolen my heart!
5By Devin_McCainI absolutely loved every single part of this book! From the moment we met Trex and Darby earlier in the Maddox brothers series, I was intrigued. When McGuire announced these two would be getting their own book I was beyond excited! A small town girl with a big heart finds herself in a truly difficult situation with no choice but to start over. You’ll be rooting for her from the very first page! Love at first sight, drama, mystery, additional glimpses into past books, and fun characters all come together to make one page-turning story! Can’t wait to see what else comes with the series.
