5By math wizardAwesome book! I give this book 10 stars! Susan and Stan is an excellent story of trust! When things go bad and Yuri dies and Stan disappears, the story begins. I advise you to keep your mind open enjoy this awesome story because you will laugh as well as shed a few tears. Read how Susan find and meets Stan and as their relationship grows. That is the love component but we have the mystery and action part as well. You will hate to put the book down and I only did because I fell asleep while reading it but did not put it down until after I woke and finished it. I highly recommend this book and the entire series! Now how about a story for David or Seth?It just gets better!

Diane Duvall series is fantastic’ each book is a stand alone but you will revisit previous characters, and it picks up where the previous book ended. So be best to read them all. What a ride, this has it all: mystery, drama, laughter, romance, action and tears. The book tells us what mystery happen to Stan and his meeting and romance with Susan. I was sad to read the last page, I want more! This definitely a keeper!My favorite series.I’m hooked
5By Karol SThe Immortal Guardians series and the Gifted ones series are superb. Dianne Duvall created a world that has hooked its fangs on me. I’m so addicted to those amazing heroes and their world. It takes you in a wonderful trill, battle, sizzling romance, true friendship, angst filled page turner rollercoaster ride. Every book in this series is amazing in its own right. This is Stan’s story. I’m so happy he gets his HEA. I read it in one seating, I couldn’t put it down. I recommend the audiobook as well, it is so well narrated that it brings our beloved characters to life in a whole new incredible level. Thanks Ms. Duvall, your books are so amazing that when I read them, I get transported and lost in their world. Coming back to reality when I’m done reading is a sucker punch lol. I can’t wait for the next book.Loving me some Stanislav
4By Lisa BatemanIf you’re new to this series, don’t worry, you can start with any book. However, as the series progresses, there’s an underlying story going on. The author is good about including details that help you understand and stay up to date. That being said, in my personal opinion, if I was starting, this wouldn’t be the one I would start with. Maybe it’s because I’m already so invested in the whole dynamics of all the characters. Dianne has spoiled us so much by always including previous characters and how they interact with one another. And I am obsessed with Seth, the leader. There are always surprises with him and David. In this book, we barely saw them and not until the very end. It was all well worth it though. And the prologue was such a surprise. I almost cried with joy. I love the main character, Stanislav and Susan. And the narrator is so amazing. I feel like I know them. While looking at a house for sell, Susan here’s a weak voice asking her not to leave and drawing her back. This voice leads her to buy the house. Susan is telepathic, by the way. One night, the voice compels her to dig in the basement. Low and behold, she finds a man. This is Stanislav, an immortal. Find out how she rescues him and about the men who hunt him. For those who are unfamiliar with the series, Immortal Guardians are like vampires except the virus that causes it doesn’t cause them to go mad like it does vampires. The reason for this is because before being infected, the human was gifted, meaning they possess abilities like precognition, telepathy and so on. This is due to having more DNA or chromosomes. The guardians protect humans by hunting vampires that prey on them. Of course, the author explains all this a lot better than I do lol. I just can’t get enough of this series! And FYI, how’s the time to catch up because you don’t want to miss out on being ready for Seth’s book, which is next!
