Description
#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • “This will be one of your favorite books of all time. Through her intensely vulnerable, honest, and hilarious reflections, Chelsea shows us more than just her insides. She shows us ourselves.”—Amy Schumer
Don’t miss Chelsea Handler’s new Netflix stand-up special, Revolution, now streaming!
In the wake of President Donald Trump’s election, feeling that her country—her life—has become unrecognizable, Chelsea Handler has an awakening. Fed up with the privileged bubble she’s lived in, she decides it’s time to make some changes.
She embarks on a year of self-sufficiency and goes into therapy, prepared to do the heavy lifting required to make sense of a childhood that ended abruptly with the death of her brother. She meets her match in an earnest, nerdy shrink who dissects her anger and gets her to confront her fear of intimacy. Out in the world, she channels her outrage into social action and finds her voice as an advocate for change. With the love and support of an eccentric cast of friends, assistants, family members (alive and dead), and a pair of emotionally withholding rescue dogs, Chelsea digs deep into the trauma that shaped her inimitable worldview and unearths some glittering truths that light up the road ahead.
Thrillingly honest and insightful, Chelsea Handler’s darkly comic memoir is also a clever and sly work of inspiration that gets us to ask ourselves what really matters in our own lives.

Another excellent book
5By ashleytmaxwellPicked this up expecting to like it and ended up loving it.Life will be the death of me
5By paige.curranEvery book I read of hers I think it’s my favorite until I read the next. I never wanted this book to end, I feel like I actually grew as a person reading that book, I laughed, I cried, laughed some more. It was everything my soul neededVery moving, different from her other books but in a nice way
5By KatieKdubChelsea really opened up in this book. I was expecting it to laugh through the entire book; instead I found another way in which I connect with her. She always seems so in touch with her feelings/opinions, and in this book she admitted that she was not, and got professional help (which she had always been against). I loved her sincerity.Just plain amazing!
5By GabiPNo words.... this book was everything I wanted to read for a while. I laughed, cried, felt humbled, an awake of consciousness and empowerment. Thank you Chelsea! Her best yet
5By DrawSomeMe!The only thing better than a really funny Chelsea Handler read is a really funny Chelsea Handler read that makes you see things a little differently about yourself and the world around you by the time you’ve gotten to the last page. I have a feeling this book will speak to many people in a different voice than all her others. Love love loves it.My Review:
5By CMarCassI have read all of Chelsea Handler’s Books, and this by far was the best! All books, I have read in the past made me laugh! I enjoyed reading and learning about her life, and grew to love her! I began watching her show Chelsea Lately, and she always gave me some great laughs! However, with this book I laughed and cried and learned about myself throughout the entire book. I truly enjoyed this, and I want to thank Chelsea Handler for putting her story out there for the world to read! Absolutely wonderful! So great
5By Iluvbug1Hilarious, sad, thought provoking. So much more than I expected from her, as I just didn’t know a lot about her. Such a fan now.All of the yes’s
5By Nm24Chelsea can do no wrong in my book. This book made me laugh, cry, and have to google words I didn’t know, but most importantly it made me think. It made me think about how I treat myself and others and how I can work on creating positivity in every aspect of my life one less sarcastic comment at a time. Thank you, Chelsea.Outstanding

5By jan.jan91Chelsea dives in deeper than she ever has before. She brings you on an emotional roller coaster. She opens up about her personal experiences and how she has come to deal with them years later. By far my favorite book she has written. ❤️Chelsea Handler Life Will Be The Death Of Me
1By BulldogzfurevahHuge waste of time like everything else she doesNope. Great TV personality; in print, loved early works, this political pandering ? Nope.
1By Monkeyman2468Thought more of Chelsea and have loved her past work. Seriously, leave the cheap shots for a few chapters in if you want to sell more books. You had me until your bias kicked in? Was willing to read since I’m open minded, and I’ve always respected hertake on things, but not going to pucker up and pretend to love this uninformed grasp at trying to stay relevant.Good Read, Different from Other Chelsea Handler Books
4By Sandi9999I enjoyed reading this book. I loved all of Chelsea’s other books. It was not humorous, more honest and a little dark.Great read
5By gen_scThis book was a great read for a fan like myself that’s followed Chelsea pre-Chelsea Lately. It is an introspective into her head and super relatable especially for someone seeking some mental guidance or clarity with “the voice in our head”. Also will give you those laughs you’re expecting!app great work your job developers keep your maps updates support maps apps great
