The judge introduces Flynn to his new wife and stepdaughter, Callie. Flynn is immediately drawn to Callie and crosses paths with her as he investigates the judges activities. This is a 5 star story of betrayal, intrigue and romance as we have come to expect from author Barbara Freethy.Another Great Adventure!

I enjoyed the characters, especially the relationship between Callie and her mom as well as between Callie and Flynn. I always like having the involvement of previous and future characters from the series included in the storyline. Another great adventure that was highly entertaining! I definitely recommend this book and look forward to Savannah’s story!RUTHLESS CROSS

It was a sensitive sticky situation the Judge told him. His date Savannah was a loyal and trusted person and they worked well together. . A scream, murder had happened, and security cameras had been hacked. The exhibit was opening in the grand hall, guests were mingling. Was the killer still among them. A good flowing plot, that gives one an eye view of what’s going on. It is filled with deceit, lies, power, with plenty of twists, to the end. Another story, with great characters of Flynn, Savannah and Callie. Given ARC for my voluntary review and honest opinion.
