The Warrior: DERRICK

Great story with plenty of action

I literally was brought to tears several times. Derrick dealing with guilt from his past, Lydiya feelings of dispair and hopelessness. I enjoyed this story so much and finished III to in 1 day because I couldn't put it down. Love this author. Lo5s of action and steamy love scenes. A+++

This is book 4 in the Cover Six Security series and it features Chaos/Derrick and Lee/Lidiya. She actually helped with TR‘s problem in book 1. The action, adventure and suspense grab a hold of you on the first page! These two only know each other online and anonymously. She needs help and feels Chaos is the only one she can trust. The cat and mouse game is fantastic! The plot twist is SHOCKING! You’ll never believe how these two are connected. The story line is AWESOME! The characters are BRILLIANT and well developed. The heated romance that brews between Derrick and Lee is smokin’ HOT! This is an amazing action and suspense book that doesn’t stop until the very end. I can’t wait for more!

What a ride! I totally enjoyed this book. I need to go back and read the other books in the series.

Derrick is just as awesome as the other CSS men. The way his life entwines with the guys. Lidiya is a strong and wonderful young lady. She’s gone through so much and deserves to have a relationship that’s not toxic. All in all, this is an awesome and enjoyable read, and eagerly awaiting to see wolf. Lidiya thought that she was hiding from her family that wanted to kill her but they knew all along where she was. She helped Chaos on a hacker case before and they had been talking so he was the only one she thought would help her. She sent him a message that she needed his help but wasn’t sure if she could trust him with her secret. Then she finally showed him what she had he turned on her, but then her uncle found them and tortured them. His friends that he worked with found them and saved them. They finally worked out their problems and were finally happy!!

The Cover Six team is full of alpha, sexy, “testosterone” with a strong determination to protect what is right and what is theirs. This book is well written with a storyline that held me captive throughout. The characters wormed their way into my heart as well. The story started at a slow pace, with a bit of repetition for me, but then took off and never let up and who cared about a slow beginning. Derrick “Chaos” Biggs is a former Marine now working for Cover Six, a private sector special ops team that works for the greater good. He has become a loner filled with self imposed demons. Other than his co-workers, his one outlet is a cyber hacker he chats with online named Lee. After 18 months of online communications, Chaos gets an encrypted message that Lee is in trouble and needs his help. Little does he know that Lee is a woman who knows too much and her past is out to get her. As for Lee, she has major trust issues (for good reasons). When her past finally catches up to her, she reaches out to the only person she thinks might help her, Chaos. But can she really trust him? Can Chaos help Lee when she brings his past to the forefront? Or will the combining of their past issues be their downfalls. This is a very gripping, exciting storyline that once it got going kept me glued to the pages. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for Warrior Derrick. I highly recommend grabbing this one up, as well as the other books in Cover Six Series.
