2By lovehappyendingsI waited with bated breathe for this book as I loved the first three but I’m sooooooooo disappointed that she shifted from Wyatt to Marco. I have never read a book where the initial love interest changes... please, bring Wyatt back... he loved Carly.... for a playboy like Marco to change so drastically and suddenly find love seems to made up... just saying..... hope next book brings them back together....I love carly

5By ByFeliciaYou guys, when the author announced that the release date was going to be postponed I was disappointed like most people. But, I also knew that the wait was going to be totally worth it. I. was. NOT. disappointed!!! Swank brought her absolute best to the table with this book. Carly has grown so much since she first arrived in Drum TN. I’ve enjoyed following along on her journey as she found that inner strength. I was filled with joy when Carly finally found a bit of happiness among her family and friends. It was good to see her be more herself, let her guard down, and enjoy life a little more. While the mystery was intriguing, it shed light on a very real and heartbreaking issue. The pace of the story was gripping and suspenseful while the twist and turns were very emotional. My heart was shattered by the end. I’m looking forward to the next book as the main story arc tension is building to an all time high. I know that Swank will give us nothing less than her best and I cannot wait!Aptly Named Book!
4By Jamie-KayThis is the fourth book in the Carly Moore series. They must be read in order. I didn’t realize it until the end, but this book is very appropriately named. The entire town of drum is buried in secretes and Carly is determined to uncover them even when it may not be in her best interest to do so. In this fourth book of the series, Carly is still on her mission to take down Bart Drummond and move onto the bigger problems of her father. For me, this book didn’t progress the main storyline as much as I had hoped. She really hasn’t come any closer to taking down her father and thus regaining her real life than she was in the first book. The plot was engaging and did keep me guessing on certain things all the way until the end. There was even an edge of my seat moment where my heart was racing to find out what was about to happen. I had just hoped for a few more answers and we seemed to only have gotten more questions.Love Carly Moore

Carly is trying to take down Bart Drummond. When one of the taverns customers commits a crime, Carly starts her own investigation to see if Bart had any part in it. There are many twists and turns, with the ending leaving me emotional. You will not regret spending time with Carly in Drum, TN. Carly’s secret: hiding from her father is not as secret as she would like. Carly wants to know what Wyatt and Max’s secrets are. Their mother, Emily Drummond, appears to have a greater knowledge and influence on the town and wants to involve Carly. Further, Carly continues to investigate Bart Drummond’s favors. Marco pursues his romantic relationship with Carly as she slowly works through her trust issues. Carly is still living with Hank who is encouraging her to trust Marco. She really doesn’t know anything about Hank other than he treats her better than her father and feels safe. Will she ever know the true Hank? Carly is naturally inquisitive about the town she has begun to love and identify as home. She wants to protect and improve the lives of the people she meets. She wants to really know who they are. This is a true page turner that will emotionally drain you in the best possible way! Carly and Marco team up again and set out to investigate a new murder in town. They're hoping to find evidence that will tie things back to the evil Bart Drummond in their quest to take him down. Denise has taken Carly to the next level in this book. Her character growth and new found strength has been amazing. She is such a dynamic and complex character who I just adore! Buried in Secrets is full of action, suspense, and surprises, and just when you think you have it figured out, Denise throws in a major curve ball of unexpected events. Such an addictive series!
