Hate books that are not standalone. Very boring beginning. Sounds like it will get creepy. Not entertaining. Will not read more books by this author.

I really enjoyed this book. Can’t wait to get to the next one to see what happens next!!

so bad. do not waste your time

I’ve read several books written by J. S. Cooper, and this one just continues her legacy of writing books that are intriguing, and a love that is filled with constant conditions and stipulations. TJ is a young man that is the son of a rich businessman, TJ himself is also wealthy, attractive, and charming. He has been best friends with Cody for years, and gotten to know Mila, Cody’s younger sister. Mila is a naive, and innocent young lady who has been in love with TJ, since they were very young. She writes in her diary about how much she loves him, while he treats her like his kid sister. She decides to seduce him while they all go to the family lake cabin. Unfortunately he brings a girl and throws a wrench on Mila’s seduction plans. TJ begins to flirt with Mila and this makes her very confused. He has ulterior motives for flirting with her. Plans that his father and TJ have organized, this is not revealed in this part of the story. Several situations occur with Mila agreeing to become TJ’s fiancé for four weeks, and she is obligated to his conditions. This book does not end in a HEA, and not even in a HFN, the rest of the story will be revealed in book two.

This book was so good!! It had so much tension and uncertainty that I got hooked. Mika is such an innocent, trusting person that uses love to lead her heart. TJ is hard and brash, but can’t help fight his true feelings. I can’t wait to see what happens in the second book!!!

This is the first book in a series that I read by JS Cooper a few years ago and just reread it again. This book is written with such careful detail that keeps the reader intrigued making it a fast read. Highly recommend to read this book and series as well as anything JS Cooper writes.

This is the first book in a series like all of her other books. The big difference between this series and many of her others is it ends with a cliffhanger, and honestly, I love the change-up! Mila is a young and naive college graduate. She gets a crazy idea to seduce her long time crush and brother's best friend TJ on the annual family lake trip. What she doesn't see is the trap TJ laid for her and the fact she walking right into the lion's den. TJ is a cocky man with a hidden world of kink and an agenda we don't quite see yet. This book is a good read, but clear your schedule and be ready to quickly download book two!

Mila has been in love with TJ forever and he’s her brother’s best friend. He always treated her like a kid but when he makes her an offer how can she refuse to be his fiancée for four weeks. Can Mila make their engagement real? I liked the characters in this book and the development of all the characters in the series.

Didn’t really care for this book. Storyline had some good moments. Story leaves you hanging in an odd place. Book 1 really was more just a short story.

Mila and TJ have known each other for most of their lives. TJ is Mila’s brothers’ best friend. Mila is in love with TJ and has been fore years, but TJ has always treated her like a dorky younger sister. Things are starting to change though, and TJ is showing an interest in her. He asks her to be his fake fiancé. I get the feeling that TJ has feelings for Mila, but his dad is a piece of work and is up to no good. Mila is going to end up hurt because let’s face it the girl is a bit naive and doesn’t think things through when it comes to TJ. The book is well written and the I’m looking forward to reading part two. It’s a fairly short read. I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review.
