Reviews
Continues to be surprising!!!
5By SusieQ/13Love this series!!!Better than all the previous books
4By KaazziiiThis book is soo much better than all the other ones when it comes to the quality of writing. The author definitely took more time writing backstories for the characters in the book but i was still not satisfied with the amount of character development. I understand that the books aren’t meant to be super long but it would’ve been so much better if the author gave maeve and aspen more thought out dialogues internal and external. Additionally, she kind of just glazed over the fact that aspen had done very terrible things to her family and he just blamed it on himself but really did nothing to say he was apologetic. but the most annoying part was that maeve seemed to get along with very fast and forget all about the turmoil he had caused which made the writing seem lazy. but, There was definitely more sophisticated imagery which was a big plus compared to the other books in the series. l will continue to read the next two and hope they continue to get better.Amazing as usual
4By wolfegrl2It took a really long time to get me into the story and to be honest I really thought of putting it down, but I stuck with it and I think this might be my favorite of the series, you have outdone yourself again with your amazing love interests in the book. I look forward to reading the next one!Enemies to lovers, but the bad guy didn’t choose evil freely and chose good when he had the chance
4By AlMo (they/them)Fun and exciting reveals, maintained a complicated interweave of storylines. I’m not a fan of the enemies to lovers trope, even with a sacrifice to “prove” love, but the author painted him as a tortured soul who grasped into the only support he had as a child and then found himself trapped in a cycle of evil and madness, only finally setting himself free from the cycle by seeing himself used as the tool to cause the same harm to another.Love the series
5By UghreallyinthemiddleofthegameOn to Rhea story!!!Amazing
5By Katiellama888The best book in the series yet! I loved itIN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES !!
5By Tamie_27This book was predictable yet it kept surprising me . I felt all the emotions of Maeve like it was my own. 9/10 !! Absolutely reccommend to buy it!!! Note: Also I would love it if after all the daughter’s stories there was a story on Mother Eveille and the whole family facing their biggest threat yet !!🤩Amazing
5By Dink284This book is packed full with adventure, love, anger and so much more. I can’t put it down! Can’t wait to see what is next keep writing Chanda Hahn!😍Loved it!
5By Fourft11This book was full of adventure. I was worried that Aspen, the shifters and Maeve’s niece, Violet had died, but I was so happy when Aura found Maeve in the cave and learned that they survived! I am glad it was a happy ending! I can’t wait to read the next book. Yes!buy it!
5By bailandoconmispiojosi’ve been very excited for maeve’s story, and it was better than i could’ve imagined. beautifully written, the mysteries are intriguing and the romance is better than any of the previous books, i recommend 100%.An exciting installment in the Eville sister’s story.
5By SvannatterAn exciting installment in the Eville sister’s story. If you read the last book you know Maeve finds herself in an extremely difficult predicament. It is an interesting ride trying to figure out what side Maeve is truly on. She is definitely loyal to her family but she makes questionable decisions that will leave you wondering “what? why?!?” I also loved seeing some of the other sisters and their new families. This is a must read and can be read as a stand alone book. I highly recommend it!Amazing!
5By JessicaHolbrookI was looking forward to reading the continuation of the Eville Sisters’ story and this book definitely didn’t disappoint! Once you pick up Chanda’s books it is almost impossible to put them down. I feel like I am right there with Maeve and the other sisters. Truly an amazing book that I will definitely be re-reading over and over again along with the whole series! What a lovely experience!
4By theasianjennI absolutely loved reading this book. I love how Chanda Hahn is able to create romantic young adult novels without getting unnecessarily graphic. The plot was gripping to the point of my needing to start and finish the book in basically one sitting. The only reason I’d give this book four stars instead of five is that there were a good number of typos and incorrect grammar instances scattered here and there. I’d unashamedly recommend this book to others!A shifting adventure
5By Jsloan04Mauve’s story was the one I looked forward to the most from this series. Her character is very bold and strong willed. She doesn’t fit in a mold and can often be looked at as selfish but in this book you see incredible growth. I love that these books really tackle bullying and embracing your difference. I was pleasantly surprised that I really rooted for a surprise character who was thought of as a villain from the first books return. I really enjoyed the character development from past characters but honestly even if you had never read the other books it’s explained well so that you understand the depths of their past as they venture towards the future. This world is described in such a way that while you’re reading you truly feel like it’s your world. I cherish getting to know each daughter of Eville but will say Mauve will continue to be my favorite.Did not disappoint!
5By ByFeliciaI bow to the queen! Chanda Hahn has done it again. I was so excited for Maeve’s story and Hahn did not disappoint. I highly recommend it and it’s definitely become a favorite of mine. Of the daughters of Lady Eville, Maeve is known as the worst of all. Temperamental and quick to strike, she is considered dangerous. Lacking control of her magic, she is proven deadly. I absolutely loved Maeve’s story. I knew it would be epic. That twist was not expected and but greatly deserved. Aspen has long been the forgotten prince. Pitted against the Eville sisters as a pawn in Allemar’s fight for power and revenge. Lost and broken with no hope, we learn the reason for his downfall and only Hahn can make you love the villain. If ever there was a redemption arc, it’s Aspen’s.Addicting read!
5By Laura-01Maeve’s story is a incredible journey of love and forgiveness. I don’t know how the author continues to pull these stories from. Each installment gets better and better. Maeve is such a strong character. Her temper sometimes gets the best of her, but without that there would be just a ordinary character. What we get is a extraordinary main character who fights for what she believes in and those she loves. We see Allemar in this installment and it was a incredible show. There are new characters—shifters, which I enjoyed as well. The tale of shifters vs humans, and can they all co-exist together? The mystery of what happened in the past, and who can they trust. This book was a fun and exhilarating ride. The fifth installment doesn’t disappoint and I binged it less than 24 hours. It was so good and unputdownable!!
