Description
Mitch Rapp, the CIA’s top operative, searches for a high-level mole with the power to rewrite the world order in this riveting thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling author Vince Flynn, written by Kyle Mills.
Mitch Rapp has worked for several presidents over his career, but Anthony Cook is unlike any he’s encountered before. Cunning and autocratic, he feels no loyalty to America’s institutions and is distrustful of the influence Rapp and CIA director Irene Kennedy have in Washington.
When Kennedy discovers evidence of a mole scouring the Agency’s database for sensitive information on Nicholas Ward, the world’s first trillionaire, she assigns Rapp the task of protecting him. In doing so, he finds himself walking an impossible tightrope: Keep the man alive, but also use him as bait to uncover a traitor who has seemingly unlimited access to government secrets.
As the attacks on Ward become increasingly dire, Rapp and Kennedy are dragged into a world where the lines between governments, multinational corporations, and the hyper-wealthy fade. An environment in which liberty, nationality, and loyalty are meaningless. Only the pursuit of power remains.
With “sizzling storytelling at its level best” (The Providence Journal), Kyle Mills has created another suspenseful thriller that not only echoes the America of today, but also offers a glimpse into its possible future.
Reviews
Decent
4By PJack64Good read but a little shallow on plot and story depth.Good Read
5By ggarf51Another great Mitch RAPP storyDecent but not Riveting
3By MontanaGisMeDecent but not riveting or very suspenseful. Very predictable which is the exact opposite of Mitch Rapp. For lack of a more professional term, this book lacks “oomph”. There is just something missing. The people are here, along with the relationships, neighborhood, international travel, wealthy power brokers. It’s part of the series so you should read it but it’s just not as good as many of the first books. It’s sad but clearly the new author is tired or is out maneuvered by Mitch Tapp. Read this but have low expectations. There are even questions. One flaw s when Mitch spoke to Anna and learned Claudia was sick. He told Anna he be home the next day. He didn’t go home and didn’t call so it’s a continuity issue. The other lack of continuity is Mitch’s use of a gun to better solve problems. He seems much more sympathetic in this book but that is not who Mitch Rapp is….One of the best

5By Wet againA new president has taken over the White House and POTUS and his wife are a formidable team. They are cunning and feel no loyalty and do not trust Rapp and the CIA director. A mole has surfaced who is causing even more distrust. Unfortunately this person is a close and respected friend of Mitch Rapp’s. Another excellent read in this series!!The Story is NOT Complete.
2By nicktianoLet me start with the fact that I read the Reviews. And unfortunately there are “SPOILERS” in the reviews. So tread with caution. That being said, the story is not complete. Rap does not “go after” the bad guy, or one of the bad guys. The “change” in one of the main characters in the Mitch Rapp Universe would not have happened if Flynn was still with us. This individual’s character arc to this novel does not have a build up to make any of this believable. We also know some other characters committed some major criminal crimes but we don’t know how any of that is resolved. Probably the most dysfunctional Mitch Rapp novel in the bunch. I’m not looking forward to reading the next one.Mind Bending Read
4By MellowTravelerWhat happens when you can’t trust leadership and money means more than patriotism and loyalty? Enemy at the Gates gives a plot twisting example of the consequences. This was a great and quick read - even thought provoking.Well Done!
5By CurvedocAnother well thought-out offering from Kyle Mills! Never a dull moment! Thank you!Not believable
3By OSU CowboyThe idea that Mike would betray Mitch or Irene is totally out of the character that Vince developed While the action scenes were great this underlying premise begs the suspension of belief. Sorry but that story line is a “FAIL”Enemy at the gates.
5By coo🎶AWSOME book! Real to life. Could not put it downloadingRapp is gone
3By hate os10.7Not his best effortGreat read
5By kmeyer430Another great mitch novelYou can’t be serious
1By KuurptostadtThe only thing that would have saved this book would have been Mike Nash taking out the former Governor of the People’s Republic of California and Mitch feeding the President’s wife to his dogs.Worse book
1By K.ByerThIs drivel was pure trash, everyone who spent on this needs a refund and a check for the time wasted reading it. Pure and utter garbage, made me rethink reading books altogether. The plot twist was nonsense at a minimum, Mike Nash? For a promotion? Either put the work in Kyle or don’t but we the readers and faithful fans deserved better than this!Outstanding continuation of the Mitch Rapp series
5By Baytown BabeRiveting with great twists and turns; great character development and the excitement and suspense as you turn every page!Enemy at the Gates
5By ShalucasI have been a big fan of Vince Flynn since the first book American Assassin and read every book since. Enemy at the Gates was a great read but the ending was heavy. Please enlighten me as to how long do I have to wait for the next book. Enjoy your Holidays Mr. Mills!
