A funny, lively, and very entertaining book!
5By ArcixIn this new episode of the Baldwin Shore series, Elise Noble tries her hand to combine a couple of very classical subjects and makes an art of it. Nothing is trite or predictable in her redemption of the themes of the runaway bride and the undercover princess. Instead, the result is a cast of funny, lively, and entertaining characters that give life to an action-packed, funny, and even emotional story. Moreover, the book is fast-paced, with plenty of twists and situations that keep the reader's attention high at every moment. I particularly appreciated the many cameo scenes that punctuate the narration; some of them are funny, some emotional, others are, in my view, epic, like the one of a racing catamaran sailing in the rough sea at 35 knots/hour! Overall, Secrets, Lies, and Family Ties is a charming book. Primarily, I had a lot of fun reading it, and I hope it will be the same for many others.Gabrielle and Colts story: a must read!!
5By Becky0385If I have a complaint, it’s that the book ended! It was hard to put this book down until I was done (admittedly I have this issue with all of Elise Noble’s books). Another well written, engaging, entertaining book by Elise! I can not wait for the next book in this series. The characters are fantastic and well developed, and I can’t wait to find out who the Bad Samaritan is!!Was your dream to become a princess?

5By Just a fan of ....Wow Book 2 of Baldwin’s Shore was GREAT! Gabrielle is a surprising character and I absolutely loved her. Colt is the wholesome Sheriff’s deputy that loves his daughter and saves Gabrielle when her car breaks down. There were a lot of funny moments in this story and I just couldn’t read it fast enough. And lets not forget the Bad Samaritan! can’t wait to read the next installment in this series.
