Description
An Instant New York Times Bestseller
A #1 LibraryReads and Indie Next Pick!
From the New York Times bestselling author of The Love Hypothesis comes a new STEMinist rom-com in which a scientist is forced to work on a project with her nemesis—with explosive results.
Like an avenging, purple-haired Jedi bringing balance to the mansplained universe, Bee Königswasser lives by a simple code: What would Marie Curie do? If NASA offered her the lead on a neuroengineering project—a literal dream come true after years scraping by on the crumbs of academia—Marie would accept without hesitation. Duh. But the mother of modern physics never had to co-lead with Levi Ward.
Sure, Levi is attractive in a tall, dark, and piercing-eyes kind of way. And sure, he caught her in his powerfully corded arms like a romance novel hero when she accidentally damseled in distress on her first day in the lab. But Levi made his feelings toward Bee very clear in grad school—archenemies work best employed in their own galaxies far, far away.
Now, her equipment is missing, the staff is ignoring her, and Bee finds her floundering career in somewhat of a pickle. Perhaps it’s her occipital cortex playing tricks on her, but Bee could swear she can see Levi softening into an ally, backing her plays, seconding her ideas…devouring her with those eyes. And the possibilities have all her neurons firing. But when it comes time to actually make a move and put her heart on the line, there’s only one question that matters: What will Bee Königswasser do?

5By valentina1906It was beautiful Ali never disappoints . Her books are amazing her characters are so funny and as always a lot of science which I lovedDreadful
1By ScrabbleGameThe writing is poor. The authoress fancies herself a jester, and the main character thinks she’s so quirky. Most importantly, it was frustrating being two steps ahead of the MC. And I knew who was the villain from the very start. Add some mystery next time, Miss Hazelwood.Awesome

5By acole7521Absolutely adored this book3.5⭐️
4By CaseyMPhillipsVery cute! The characters are a bit hard to believe at times, but not to the point where I don’t enjoy the book. I hope the author keeps writing books but maybe branches out a bit on the character types, she tends to stick to the same base models for characters, and as delightful as they are it’d be nice to see more variety beyond changing hair colors and hyperfixations.AMAZING
5By pow wow_pow wowi absolutely loved this book… the only thing i disliked was the fact that bee never said allowed that she loved levi. and i wish there was more of an ending than js the epilogue- like i wish it went into more detail about what happened after the proposal, but i loved the storyline and the book!!
