States of Love: Arizona Artist

I’m loving the States of Love series and Arizona Artist, the story centered around Kendall and Thom, didn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for a quick, steamy read, grab your copy of this beautifully told story. Kendall and Thom meet when he rescues her in the Arizona desert. He wants to leave her, but, of course, he takes her back to his home, which is a stunning mansion. No spoilers, but I will say I loved what Kendall did for Thom at his ten year high school reunion. Thom and Kendall were a match made in desert heaven. Finding her in the middle of the desert stranded from a broken down car is the last thing grumpy Thom needs or wants. Even if he’s drawn to her smile and her sass. I wasn’t sure about Thom at first because of his grumpiness and secrets but he totally grows on you. Kendall is easy to love from the start. On the run from her broken heart, she ends up stranded in the desert and rescued by the man who swears he’s no knight in shining armor. He’s just a tech nerd with money who has mistakes and secrets that he’s hiding. At least that’s what he is in his own kind. She is finally able to make him smile and loosen up a bit. She even convinces him to attend his high school reunion and show his old bullies what he’s done with his life. These scenes are the best! The hot bathroom scene and Kendall’s role in sticking it to the bullies will have you panting AND laughing. When his secrets are revealed, can she look past them to the heart of gold inside? This is a must read to find out. The characters, the story, the steam, and the terrific ending are all worth reading!. Shocking news sends Kendall on an escape from her life, only to be stranded out in dry Arizona. Thom may be her rescuer, but he feels far more guilt for other reasons. Loved how these two connected, in a slow burn with a hot scene to help forge a new reputation for Thom.
