I loved how open Holly is with a complete stranger Zane, explaining how she is pregnant from a drunken one nigh stand and she has to go home to her ex’s engagement party. Holly then invites Zane to go home with her as her fake date for Christmas. Loved Holly’s grandmother with her outrageous interactions and comments throughout the book. 5By lynn71149Holly is at the monthly meeting of her matchmaking group when she realizes that she is pregnant from a drunken one night stand and she doesn’t remember the man she was with. When she starts to pass out she is caught by Zane and she explains her dilemma to him after she throws up on his shoes. They talk and she explains her predicament to him and he agrees to pretend a fake relationship where he will be her fiancé while they visit her parents and attend her ex’s engagement party. Why did Zane agree to the fake relationship and will they grow closer on this trip? I enjoyed this fun story with Holly who is hot mess and Zane who is handsome, charming and rich. Holly didn’t remember any details of her past encounter and Zane is hoping to get to know her better. Holly’s family were hilarious and I loved the interactions with her Gran and her dad.
