Loved these characters of a man who truly is fantastic in every way possible, and a strong woman making the best out of her hard situation. When her jerk of a boyfriend leaves her on the side of the road while giving birth, Lane is there to help her and be by her side. Lane is absolutely perfect. He’s ready to be everything Bristol needs. He may have his moments of doubt but he stays by her side. This book did a good job of capturing how overwhelming first time parenting can be, especially when things don’t always go like you thought they would. Luckily, Lane stopped and helped her, unlike the other drivers that just looked and kept on driving. Although this is a quick read, we still get a satisfying story with a happy ending.
