2By Roro SchnowskiSpoiler alert!!! Good book unfortunately until you got to ending. Ending was so bad it made the entire book a waste of a read. Author did a good job of keeping you in suspense all the way till end. At that point there were three possible murderers. Loved the unraveling of the timeline, how she jumped from Kinsey’s investigation to the past and the days leading up to the murder. At the very end, even though it was 1am and I had 200 pages left I just couldn’t put the book down coz I so badly wanted to know who the murderer was. Unfortunately this was where it almost seemed like the author went on vacation and let her secretary take over! While the ending had an action packed car chase, guns and violence, what it didn’t have was any sort of ending that explained the random murderer she picked out of the town. This guy as implied in the previous chapters neither slept with the victim nor really needed to steal the cash from the victim as he had already stolen plenty of money from his wife! Yeah yeah yeah, he needed some money to tide him over for the immediate month or so but it just wasn’t enough of a reason to murder her in my opinion. Plus author implied in a previous chapter that the murderer never really made a move on the victim and yet at ending we find out that the dog she loved so much was bought by him. Seriously it absolutely did not make sense! U can’t go with a random perpetrator just for the sake of giving us a an ending we never expected. Plus after we find out who the murderer is and they do an entire chase scene, the next chapter is one whole year later without trying to further explain why the author chose that person as the murderer. Never thought a book could be that good and then u get to the crappiest ending ever and now you don’t even wanna see the book in your bookshelf!Couldn't put it down
