4By podluverA marked improvement in the series. Less contrived than the first book and more risky. Chicago, as a living, breathing place, is much better represented in this outing. It still feels as if there's a bit of location name-dropping for it's own sake, but there is also a bit more knowledge and character guiding it. As I read further into the series, I can only hope it continues.Excellent!
