I’ve probably read 50 plus Spencer novels. I’d rate this one of the best, if not the best. The essence of Robert Parker. Crisp dialogue, thoughtful and true to itself and the reader. RIP

A little complicated plot, but a good read nevertheless.

I discovered this book, the only one I had not read, and it was like Christmas in august. Parker is greatly missed like an old friend. This book is very good and true to the Spencer character and one of best the insights into the Hawk character. Great read.
