4By boots saddleGood read, but lacking a satisfying ending.Old story...
3By fjcan2Book was written in the 80s. So, since then, theme has been done multiple times. Boring.... And, dry humor of the protagonist, after a while, is also a big yawn. Too bad.Out of Sequence
4By JagpapaI read this after having finished 16 others previously. It filled a number of gaps in Spenser's life for me. I am glad I read it. But it did not seem as sharp as some, if not all, of Parker's other novels. Still a weak Spenser novel is better than many other.
