By Danielle Steel
America’s #1 bestseller!
There are some places you visit, and some places you never leave behind. Danielle Steel’s new novel follows a devoted father and the daughter he raises in the fascinating upstairs-downstairs world of a glamorous Manhattan hotel.
The hotel was old, run-down. But to Swiss-born hotelier Hugues Martin, it is a rough diamond tucked away on a quiet New York City street. So Hugues scrapes together everything he has to purchase the building—and transforms it into one of the world’s finest luxury hotels.
Under Hugues’s exacting supervision, the Hotel Vendôme is soon renowned for its unparalleled service and discretion—the ideal refuge for the rich and famous—and a perfect home for Hugues’s family, until his young wife abandons him, leaving Hugues the single parent to their four-year-old daughter. Still, Heloise grows up happily amid a colorful milieu of celebrities, socialites, politicians, world travelers, and the countless hotel employees who all adore her.
As the years pass and unexpected challenges arise, Hugues and the hotel are the center of Heloise’s life. She longs to follow in her father’s footsteps and one day run the Hotel Vendôme. The lessons she learns at his side will carry her through it all, illuminating a story no reader will forget.
Welcome to the Hotel Vendôme.

Written for a ten year old2By CalwickstromCould've a great book but seems like it's aimed at a ten year old's grammar and vocabulary
Boring1By Happily retiredLike reading a manual on how to run a luxury hotel.
Hotel Vendome1By Rwallace72This was the most boring book that I have ever attempted to read. I believed that it would somehow become interesting, however, it was just repetitive. I considered finishing it, but did not want to waste one more second of my life reading this. It was a total waste of my time and money.
Boring2By ctWLVFirst Daniele steel book and must say my last! I felt I was I was in Grade school being told the same thing over and over again. Move it on
Y A W N1By ColleenReissCute but predictable, just like all the others. Nothing new. The only thing that changes are the setting and characters names. Easy read for a plane ride.
Audio book1By AngelhugzsThis was not one of the best audio books I could not get interested I kept listening but after 35 minutes I gave up! Not worth the money
Hotel Vendome4By gloria9000I have loved reading everything Danielle Steel has published, and this book wasn't an exception. I do feel that there were spots that left too many years out in the characters lives. I found myself disappointed that I couldn't read about those skipped years. Please continue writing your wonderful books Danielle. I, for one, will continue buying them.
