BETRAYAL
At thirty-nine, director Tallie Jones is a Hollywood legend, whose award-winning films enjoy both critical and commercial success. With no interest in the glitz of Los Angeles, Tallie centers her life on her work and her devoted inner circle: her family, her producing partner and live-in lover, and her longtime personal assistant and best friend.
As Tallie is in the midst of her most ambitious film yet, small disturbances begin to ripple through her world. An audit reveals troubling discrepancies in the records maintained by Tallie’s trusted accountant. Mysterious receipts hint at activities of which she has no knowledge. Soon it becomes clear that someone close to Tallie has been steadily funneling away enormous amounts of her money. After an escalating series of shattering revelations, Tallie must face the harsh truth behind her seemingly perfect life: that sometimes trust can be the greatest illusion of all.

2By TracyLacI use to be a huge Danielle Steele fan and now I know why I stopped reading her books. This book was very predictable, nothing exciting and/or earth shattering took place. I could have used my money to go towards something else. 😔Betrayal
5By vmcanioLove reading Danielle Steel's books. Another good book to read.Betrayed
2By MeMa99Always loved DS's bboks, but this one almost seemed like a novice wrote it or a ghost writer. Not enough layers of characters or stories. Disappointing, for the first time. What happened? It was more like a a cute story a new young writer without much live experience would write. I still enjoyed it, sweet story. LOVED Wanderlust and many many others.Terrible editing!
2By Reba907The premise was engaging, but the repetition in the prose was so off-putting that it ruined the book for me.Betrayal
3By LoriColtJust an OK book, not one of her greatest. The ebook had missing pages and repeated pages not sure what was up with that.Betrayal
