5By lele8909I love reading about Anita Blake. She is my favorite character of all time! It was so refreshing when I stumbled across Guilty Pleasures. Seeing a strong female, her sense of honor is all her own. I’m in the criminal justice field and this series is very accurate in the way things are for females. I can’t say enough about how much I loves this series.Love this series

1By More crap thievesThese books kept popping up as "recommended" because i love patricia briggs, ilona andrews, charlaine harris. I bought one and could not even get through it halfway. So much time devoted to these polyamorous relationships and describing who is into what, under the guise of "women power". Took away from the plots which i may have liked if we weren't always being pulled to one of sexual partners and their kinks. Weird, just weird and not interesting.Anita Blake

I love the way all of the characters were developed and how they all find themselves as the journey continues through each volume. Laurell K. Hamilton is an artist!!! Her writing is captivating and I hated that I would not be able to put the book down until I finished it, then had to wait till the next book was published! For. Those just starting the series... Be forewarned... Start with book 1 and be prepared to become addicted and have the next book waiting so you can flow through Anita's life smoothly... Relax and savor the experience!LOVE LOVE THESE BOOKS
