Description
A life hanging in the balance and a family torn apart—this emotionally powerful novel from New York Times bestselling author Jodi Picoult explores family secrets, impossible choices, and the limits of love.
On an icy winter night, a devastating accident forces a fractured family to reunite and make a decision that will change everything. Cara, once fiercely protected by her father, Luke, carries a secret no one else knows. Her brother, Edward, is hiding secrets of his own—secrets that could shatter Cara if they come to light. Their mother, Georgie, long overshadowed by her ex-husband’s obsessions, now finds his life in her children’s hands.
As old wounds resurface and buried secrets emerge, each family member must confront what loyalty, forgiveness, and love truly mean. With emotional depth and moral complexity, this unforgettable family drama asks what happens when the hope meant to hold a family together becomes the very thing that threatens to tear it apart.

1By Jeff M.AI love many of Jodi’s books but this was by far my least favorite😞Must read.
5By joycecliffFirst book that I read by Jodi Picoult. It was amazing. I had my doubts when I first started because each chapter was a different story. It was very well written that kept me reading. Everything still tied together and made sense. Great insights into the human and wolf psyche. Excellent read until the very last page.Jodi Picoult
5By dooneenI don’t know how you come up with these poignant characters, the settings, and the points of conflict that are relevant to modern life. When I first read THE STORYTELLER, I couldn’t put it down. LONE WOLF kept me up much later than I intended. This book was excellent. NoreenI lost sleep
5By nessa300I lost sleep over this book cause I couldn’t put it down.Everything you never wanted to know about wolves
2By ScoopmasterIf you want a complete education about wolves and the dynamics of a wolf pack, read away! If, however, you're looking for a juicy vacation read, this snooze feet is for you.Lone wolf
5By Jen hutchinsThe book is great. But on my ereader, the final page of each chapter is repeated about 10 times. Very annoying, especially since it could be fixed.Always great
5By The Groschke'sI love Jodi's books and this one was fantastic! Definitely a page turner and had me in tears at the end!Great read!
5By esarakaitisCaptivating storyline. Lots of great ties to my own family.Lone wolf
2By 34532@Disappointing. I read through it skipping over many of the chapters, in hopes the ending would be great. Good author, but don't spend your download on this one.Liked, but
4By CdreviewsI am a huge jodi picoult fan, but her last few books have felt a bit formulaic with the lawsuits, tough questions, ending that wraps up like a christmas ribbon. (she is mary higgins clark for the ivy league set.) i enjoyed this book, though I skipped some of the wolf stuff. Id like to see Jodi experiment a bit more with her next book. And, as I wrote in another review, enough with the point of view chapters. They're overused in today's chick reads.Incredible
5By Ali Murat PalaI was skeptical becos of the title but after having read a few chapters i realized it is amazing. Page turner and reslly good. Totally recommended.Lone Wolf
5By Tootsie dollAs usual I couldn't put this book down until I completed it. Jodi is one of my favorite authors whom will always keep you thinking!Great book
5By AprilE.The book was really great. On a side note, to those "reviewers" incapable of talking about a book without revealing the various plot lines: shame on you. Ruining the book for others is poor form.Lone Wolf
5By Riley’sfavoriteI have read many of Jodi Picoult's books and am never disappointed. I love that she seems to investigate the subject matter so thoroughly. I always feel like I can see the characters and get to know them very well. Another fab book!!Great Read
5By BennettwritesIn keeping with Jodi's style of story telling, Lone Wolf does not disappoint. The wolf information was beautifully weaved into a set of real and believable family circumstances. I think this story, along with Nineteen Minutes and Sing You Home are my favorites. I'm glad to see a collaboration with her daughter is in the works. Kids can bring a whole new flavor to adult writing.Lone Wolf
4By dls1181Great book that was a fast read. It is amazing that Picoult never runs out of relevant topics to write about. One of my favorites of hers.Lone Wolf
3By Muppett1This was not my favorite by any means of J. Pocult's books, and yet I had to finish it. It just seemed to be too far out to believe and not yet the category of a fairy tale. Had this been the first of her books that I had read I don't know that I would have read any more and that would have been a great loss! I think I have read all of her books , my favorite being Perfect Match. Keep on writing! What a gift you have! M.K.
