4By Bird and book loverI read this book in an afternoon. I loved it. My mother had scoliosis growing up, at about Deenie's age. Reading it, I kept thinking about her and what she must have gone through. Still, I think this book would appeal to anyone, if they had a personal connection to the story or not. It's frank and well - written, and it really makes you think. I recommend it.
