Description
An insurer is required to defend a suit brought against its insured when the suit is not clearly within an exclusionary clause of the policy. When an insurer is obligated to defend its insured and contests coverage in the same suit, the insurer must pay reasonable attorneys fees for its insured rather than conduct the defense itself.
