Waste of Time
1By IowaHawksFanI love the Pendergast books, but even for 99cents, it wasn't worth it.Overpriced
2By 5teve5This is a nice short story - but way too short to be worth the price. Half the pages are legalese and advertising for Preston & Child.Don't buy
1By Lizard hunterThis book is not as long as the description states. It is very short. Half of the book is devoted as a preview of the next Pendergrast novel. Save your .99 and don't bother reading such a short, boring story. I'm very disappointed.Wow! Really good.
5By RecruiterrickThis was kind of a cross between a short story and a novelette. A little longer than a short, maybe a little shorter than a novelette. I sat outside in my carport, smoked a cigar, drank coffee and about after an hour or so, I finished what I would call a good old traditional "ghost story". Very well, written, characters well defined. Beginning, middle, and satisfying end. Real good job.Unhappy Reader, where are the 128 pages?
1By 1ShrothmanSomething is very wrong with this Purchase, as it informs the buyer of purchasing a 128 page Short Story..... Where is the last 100 pages? This has left me frustrated, as I was engaged in reading a 128 page Pendergast Short story, but it ended in 20 pages. Negative Experience for me.....poor decision to release this way!Too short
3By South33While I understand it's a short story, it is too short. The ending feels chopped, like there is more that could be there. Otherwise, it feels like a typical Pendergast story, which is a good thing.Deceptive yet entertaining
2By TdHutchChange the price to 9 cents. It's a twenty page ghost story for Pete's sake! Was a fun read though and got me primed for the next Pendergast!Extractions
1By 2shogunNot worth the price or pre ordering.
