The Story of Lentil Soup

With God’s blessing, Rebekah got married and later give births to two sons.  The older one was Esau; the younger one was Jacob. God told her that her two sons would be the leaders of two countries.  One day, Esau came back from hunting, he was tired and hungry.  When he saw his younger brother had just cooked some delicious lentil bean soup, he asked Jacob for some lentil soup. Jacob asked Esau to give him his birthright as the older son in exchanging the soup.  Esau agreed. Jacob got the birthright and would inherit his father’s entire possessions and have all the blessing from his father and God, when his father passed away. Esau did not care about this.
Since Isaac could not see any more, Jacob disguised himself as Esau and received the blessing from Isaac. Esau was terribly angry with Jacob when he got to know this, and he planned to kill him. What happened to them? Please read the story: The Story of Lentil Soup.
