The Story of Getting God's Promised Land

The beautiful city of Jericho was sitting on God's Promised Land. There, the springs were clear, flowers were blooming and the tall palm trees brought coolness.  Joshua was making plans to attack Jericho. God sent his angel to Joshua.  The angel told Joshua that he would not be alone.  God would help him if he followed what God told him.  Why Joshua called the priests and told them to carry their trumpets and walk in the front of the Ark and all the army? Why Joshua did not tell the army how to attack the city but had them walk behind the priests?  What was the command from God that Joshua told them?  The king of Jericho was shocked and felt nervous, what did he do?  Why there was no sign of attack, but only the sound of trumpets?  How the walls of Jericho started to shake and finally collapsed?  Who won the battle?  The people who lived in Gibeon, not far away from Jericho, heard about the Israelites. They thought to make a peace treaty with the Israelites to avoid war.  What happened to them?  The people of Gibeon lied to Joshua.  So Joshua and elders signed a treaty with them without asking permission from God.  Will God be angry?
