Secret Keeper

What a guy to do when he discovers his one-night stand...the girl he really connected with and wants to see again...turns out to be the coach's daughter? Well, first he has to find he again, since she ghosted him. She had a good reason to hide from him, sort of. But what if Alix and Ryann can keep their relationship a secret from her estranged, but getting closer, dad...and the fans, plus the rest of the team. I mean, they owe it to themselves to give it a shot, right? After meeting Alix in the previous book, I was very excited to read his story. I never imagined that the angst would come from, mainly, outside of his pairing with Ryann. But it does, mostly in the form of trying to develop a working relationship between father and daughter(s) after years of anger, tears and feelings of abandonment. Alix is the bright spot in Ryann's world as a new member of the Viper's team but keeping a secret can be hard on a couple, new or old. I can't get enough of this series and these characters. Every story is filled with humor and the dialogue is crisp, sexy, funny and sweet. Every time I think I can't love a player more, Ms. Lynn introduces me to another that I fall for even harder. I'm hoping this series never ends!

I had been waiting for Alix's book because he made me smile every time he made an appearance in the prior books. His charming humor, adorable nature and rascally self made me love him. His story did not disappoint. I adored how it rolled out- he met Ryann and fell so hard he kept trying to find her. Ryann had some daddy issues and though she started working for the team, they were unable to stop themselves from falling for each other. Low in angst, very high in smiles, this book was yet another reason why this series is one of my favorite sports series of the year. I just love this team and the wonderful characters throughout!
