Rosamund and Matthew have a rather different enemies-to-lovers story. It is actually her father for whom Matthew holds a grudge, and maybe rightly so. Rosamund comes to him to invest in his locomotive company, and because of his experience with her family in the past, he turns her down. She turns elsewhere. Because she is invested and interested in science and modern machines, they move in the same circles. There are some twists and turns and a few missteps, but eventually they reach for each other. The characters are interesting. There is an understanding uncle, a very intelligent heroine, a stubborn hero, and an opportunistic suitor. This is an enjoyable story with a very nice ending. I received an ARC of this book via BookSprout and am voluntarily reviewing it.
