4By Oma 3Another amusing story in the saga of three Dukes who happen to be best friends, in financial straits and co-authors in a romance book. Brody, the Duke of Corwin happens to seem a help wanted sign in the window of a publisher for an assistant editor. Thinking that this may just be his lucky day and a way to get their novel published he accepts the job as Mr. Evans. Meeting the rest of the staff he is drawn to Harry Michaels, the young man who is the composer. This completely confuses him, he loves women, adores them. So how can he accept this attraction he has for Harry. Harriet has tried several different jobs to support herself and her little sister. Gentry that was shown out the door at the age of 16. Discovering that dress as a lad she can get a better paying job and it is safer dressed that way. Two years and no problems till she meets the new employee and there is such a strong attraction, but she is acting the part of a man and that is wrong on so many accounts. A fun fast read, love the doubts that has Brody all confused. The continuing question of the novel and the HEA. One more Duke to go. Thank you NetGalley for this eARC.
