Description
One single mom. One chaotic family. One quirky stranger. One irresistible love story from the New York Times bestselling author of The Giver of Stars and the forthcoming Someone Else's Shoes
Suppose your life sucks. A lot. Your husband has done a vanishing act, your teenage stepson is being bullied, and your math whiz daughter has a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that you can’t afford to pay for. That’s Jess’s life in a nutshell—until an unexpected knight in shining armor offers to rescue them. Only Jess’s knight turns out to be Geeky Ed, the obnoxious tech millionaire whose vacation home she happens to clean. But Ed has big problems of his own, and driving the dysfunctional family to the Math Olympiad feels like his first unselfish act in ages . . . maybe ever.
One Plus One is Jojo Moyes at her astounding best. You’ll laugh, you’ll weep, and when you flip the last page, you’ll want to start all over again.
Reviews
I loved this book
5By Astronomer 55The character development made each page something special. As both a dog and math lover, I found the story even more compelling.Refreshing!!!
5By LIT.designI really enjoyed this book. One of the best I have read in a long time. Life can be hard, no one gets it right all the time, but you still keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward. The main character did that for her children and kept doing it and gave them everything she had despite the difficult roadblocks. She also acknowledged her failures and accepted the consequences. Heartwarming story.Heartwarming
4By ABQBlytheI love her writing!A sleeper
5By bebe_555One Plus One edgers off at a slow start but knowing who wrote it kept me going until I was immersed in both characters and storyline. And what a charming, tender, funny, endearing tale it was, sprinkled throughout with bits of real-life wisdom. Thank you Jojo Moyes, for another memorable slice of the human potential for self-discovery, redemption and love.Keep it Up, Jojo
5By fpp221I have not given out many 5 star reviews in my lifetime. I’m pretty particular. But this gem of a story which I did not know existed (and I have read other novels by her) is by far the best. One Plus One
5By Tiggy/CookieI Have only read one other book by this author and it was the tear jerker. I read the reviews about this one and a few weren’t thrilled with it, but I love it. Everything about it touched my heart. I couldn’t put it down and hated for it to end. Loved it !One plus one
4By raeleigh000Delightful story. Laughed so much, my husband began laughing, too. There are difficult parts, but also, a HEA.Favorite Jojo!

5By Back2americasrootsThis book had me hooked in the first chapter. I fell in love with the characters, and found myself laughing and crying along side them. This story had me examining myself and those around me through a different set of eyes. A remarkable story that has me excited to read more from this author.Awesomeness
5By KailsahisamiAs usual, I loved it!Another great one
5By Katniss79Jojo is my favorite author, I see as I'm reading through the reviews that people keep comparing this book to Me Before You and that makes me sad! Yes that was a fantastic book but there are others by her that are just as amazing..The Girl You Left Behind and Last Letter From Your Lover are so so good! Anyway the snobs need to get over it. This book was fabulous because the characters are so detailed that you end up playing the words on the page as a movie in your mind. They're vivid and flawed which is what I love about Jojos writing. It ALWAYS leaves you wanting more. I don't think there is a book of hers that I've read that I haven't cried into. Sometimes out of sadness but mostly because of the heart swelling goodness that spills out of her characters in moments of reflection. I'm sad now because I've just ended this book and now what do I read? I need more Jojo!!One Plus One
4By GreattwinmumJoJo Moyes has a great way with dialogue. She writes the way people talk. This wasn't my favorite book by her, but it was still very good. She has a way of writing about normal people that makes you care about them.I hate to say it
2By Bexytaly...as I LOVED Me Before You, but this book was just your run of the mill girl-meets-boy-meets-adversity. A bit cheesy/cliche, without the payoff of say a The Notebook. So bummed, as I REALLY wanted to like this book.Incredible
5By Taliyw897654Never wanted it to end. Loved so much !!!!!!One Plus One
5By StephenstrategistI've become a huge fan of Jojo Moyes! I've read most of her work and I have loved most of them. (Not all) This one I loved. It is a wonderful story and very well written. Real people with real issues written in a readable style. Loves the spunkiness of Jess, the sweetness of Tanzie, the gradual openness of Nicky and the servants heart of Ed. Loved seeing them all mature and grow. Great read! One Plus One
5By Louise141414A book that made me laugh and cry and keep reading all that day until sadly, it was over, leaving me with a feeling that these characters were real people that I had come to know and would miss. One Plus One
