I absolutely loved reading this book and couldn't wait to download the next one in the series! If the author could please explain to me how I can do that or get the next book that would be great. Right now it tells me it's unavailable to download and that truly has me upset! I was dying for what happens next. I may never get a chance to know though.

This was a good read with like-able characters. It did move very fast, like current and then 3 months down the road. I hate when you have to buy the next book to get a conclusion to a story. That is why I am only giving it 3 stars.

Loved it. This is a great story. But why isn't book 2 available on iTunes???

This was absolutely one of the worst written books I have ever read. The storyline jumps around too much and is loosely tied together. I found so many grammatical errors and repeated paragraphs in the story to make this a train wreck of a book. Definitely disappointed!

There is not another series by any author that still effects me MONTHS after I have finished reading it. This one sets my heart stuttering every time I see just the cover. It's an emotional roller coaster that will leave you feeling deeply. I read the whole series in one sitting, 12 hours. I locked my bedroom door and told my husband and kids to fend for themselves. Thanks Cassie. Books should make us feel deeply.

I'm glad Cassia wrote and released the prequel of how Claire and Chris met after the other stories. It's a beautiful beginning to an amazing love story. I have a better understanding and appreciation for Claire's choices. I was so hurt and frustrated with Claire in the other stories, but after reading the way Claire grew up and her insecurities in life I have a new perspective about her. Plus the sacrifices she made in the name of love. My only compliant is the age in which they discovered their love for one another. It's never good when is sixteen year olds falling in love when they have the weight of the world on their shoulders. Also, people always encounter different roads in life and even though you are in love sometimes those paths are not the same. In this case Chris is in a band that is getting awareness and has to travel. But Claire cannot follow after Chris's dreams. She must follow her own path. They say separation makes the heart grow fonder and that is the journey that this story leads to. These books are all amazing and will consume you from beginning to end. I'm disappointed in Claire. I never realized how insecure and unsure she was in her relationship with Chris. Chris has done everything he can to make Claire feel confident in their relationship. Yet, she continues to believe he is going to be tempted by all the girls. He has never given her any reason to doubt his love for her. I would still encourage anyone who wants to read this series to begin with Relentless first and read this one last because the way that story is set up leaves you guessing and wanting more. I wish after reading this one that Claire would have had faith in Chris to trust in the love they had for each other without him having to give up his dream. When Claire let go of Chris she gave him freedom to start dating other people. How can that hurt less than allowing him the opportunity to prove his faithfulness?

Cassia Leo nailed it with this prequel to the Shattered Hearts series. No spoilers because everyone deserves to experience the full effect of the beginning of these two souls falling in love. There's nothing like your first love!!
