5By IzzibearXoey and Isaac's story is a very heartfelt one. It took me on a rollercoaster of emotions. I cried quite a bit at the end. It wasn't that it didn't have a HEA. It was just that what Isaac did to prove his love to Xoey and show her that they were meant to be together was so sweet.Cheers to Xoey meeting her match

5By ShobeteenerI was given this ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. This is book 4 in the Cactus Creek Series. This is the book I have been waiting for! Xoey's story. Xoey Montenegro manages her good friend, Dani's Brewpub Ocotillos. This woman is a riot with her zippy comebacks and attitude. Isaac mcKnight owns/runs his own gym. He's a true knight in shining armor in my book. Isaac and Xoey dated awhile before she suddenly ended things with them. He was able to keep a strong 'friends' relationship going with her. They come across as super best friends. I give Isaac huge kudo's for allowing her to tell him about all her dates with other men when he cares deeply for her. Things shift for them when Xoey makes a drunken confession and Isaac decides to take a stand in moving their relationship forward. He proves to Xoey that he is her rock. This book has several laugh out loud moments which I absolute love in a book. To me it just makes the story so much better and more realistic. I love how all the characters from the other books in this series intermingle. It's great and makes for an awesome read in a really good series.Love love love loved it!!!

I was pleasantly surprised again and again. Great Job Violet Duke!!!!! It can be a stand alone novel but if you love series books as much as I do you will love the Cactus Creek stories.Fantastic
