Now she is escaping. The spacecraft leaving is taking brides. The Galaxy Brides is short several women so Nadja is told to board. She and several others are taken to Qurilixian. There they will be selected by masked potential grooms. Prince Olek is participating in the Breeding Festival with his brothers and cousins. He is masked and as the women walk past his crystal lights up for the one. He has found Nadja. She seems happy with him until the next morning. She doesn’t want a prince. But the are married after the crystal was smashed. Now he must deal with an unhappy bride. However, making cures for medical treatments is her passion. Yet she is secretive and scared of something. A good story about two people with secrets that need to learn to trust each other. Has a HEA. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.Enjoyable
5By Topmom52These Qurilixen stories are so interesting. The customs of a new planet are intriguing to learn. Nadja had no idea what she was getting into when she boarded the Galaxy Brides ship to escape her father. Prince Olek and Nadja are both very confused with the reactions of each other. The story is fairly fast-paced and held my interest. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.Beautiful
5By LisaCloverI confess that I am addicted to the Dragon Lords series. Book two is about the youngest son Olek and the Medical Mafia's head boss Doc Aleksander's daughter, Nadja. Each book within this series reveals the SAME main events just from THOSE characters perspectives. It took me a moment to realize this that the same events just from the different characters perspective. If you read the books in order (unlike me) the reader will still benefit the characters introduction from what caused them to be on the Galaxy Brides ship to be with their spouses. Its an amazing read whether books read in order or not. Again the brilliance to this series of shifters and science fiction.Olek & Nadja

She cannot do anything without him knowing. Now she is engaged to a terrible man that her father has chosen. Nadja decides to escape. She will find and leave on a ship going anywhere. She ends up on a ship bound to Qurilixen as a Galaxy Bride. Nadja will marry a simple man and live in obscurity. Once she arrives on the planet she meets Olek in a mating ceremony. She is chosen by him and she accepts. They have an instant spark that turns into a fire of desire. The next day she finds out that Olek is not a simple man but a prince. Nadja is upset by this because she is afraid her father will be able to find her more easily. Olek is patient with Nadja. They have good chemistry together. Will Nadja allow Olek into her heart? Will she admit to Olek that she is being pursued by her mafia father? Will she finally be able to escape her father? Will she ever find peace and a happy marriage with Olek? The story flows and keeps you entertained and turning the pages. There are some steamy scenes. This is book two in the Dragon Lords series. The author has created a wonderful world. Olek and Nadja, the main characters, have been destined by the gods to be together. But there are so many obstacles in their way that it doesn’t seem like they will ever consummate their marriage. This was an exciting book to read. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!Hot as Dragon’s Breath!

She finds herself passage on a Galaxy Brides ship and during the Breeding Festival is matched with Olek. Both are strong personalities and they clash as much as they click. Sparks fly, tensions rise. 5By Adrian7619Loved this book. Very interesting read. Like every book by Michelle M. Pillow, I couldn’t put it down. I loved how the characters had different family dynamics. I also love how she portrayed the love of a daughter for her father even after he hurt herI loved the story!
5By k~jayI love this series and was excited to read the anniversary edition. I fell in love with Qurilixen and the characters all over again. I love the simple ceremony and the faith that the men believe in finding their mate. Nadja is probably the only prospective bride that doesn’t want a princes that are mentioned to be at the ceremony. Everything goes well until she realizes Olek is a prince. Prince Olek is not sure what has changed but knows Nadja is the one for him. Will he be able to convince her? I always appreciate how the author develops the characters to the point where you really feel like you know them and understand their situation.
