Cat shifter Prince Falke commands the royal armies, so it’s a little embarrassing when a beautiful female space captain captures him in his shifter form. Since they left his home planet and no one would know where to send a rescue party, it’s up to him to use all his training and powers of persuasion to find his way back home.

Captain Samantha Dorsey and her space crew are on a mission to complete a intergalactic scavenger hunt and claim the prize money. Drunk and feeling like some fun, they snag the last thing on their list--a primitive wild beast. The next morning she realizes that they got more than they bargained for... a sexy warrior prince. And he doesn't look pleased.

  • Fun alien romance

Interesting ideas, a fun read, but I just wasn’t feeling a lot of the characters. The initial setup for the story; drunkenly capturing a wild animal that turns out to be shifter, just didn’t start off with the right vibe for me. Enjoy the whole shifter alien aspect though, and the mates scenario. Sam and Falke do have some sweet, steamy moments. Overall, an entertaining, kooky alien adventure.
  • How did the head of the Var Armies get captured by a few drunks?

Captain Sam Dorsey rules a rowdy crew with a firm hand!! Well, not exactly! They all get drunk one night and decide to pop down to the primitive planet of Qurilixen to capture a wild beast, the last item on their list for the scavenger hunt they are on. Imagine Sams surprise when she wakes up with a full blown hangover and a naked man in a cage in the middle of her bedroom. Once they sober up and find out they abducted a Var Prince they are totally screwed. They don’t have enough fuel to return him, thanks to one of her crew, and they need the money from the scavenger hunt for fuel. Only they are short one wild beast. I laughed at the crazy stuff her unruly crew pulls, but you can tell they all love each other. So where does one angry prince come in, especially when Sam is pretty sure he is her mate? Don’t miss this one! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Secrets and misconceptions drive this angsty fated mate tale. Stoic rough tough Falke gets captured by a female captain and her crew, his brothers will never let him live it down. But this female smells delicious and drives him crazy. Samantha is living her truth with the family she made for herself she can’t possibly settle down no matter how much Falke wedges himself in her heart. Besides the romance though there is so much action and fun. Great read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
