About the Captured by a Dragon-Shifter Series
Welcome to the dangerous world of Qurilixen where dragon-shifters and cat-shifters rule as fiercely as they love. They might have escaped human persecution long ago to live on their own terms, but now must return to Earth to ensure their survival.

For Qurilixen Fans
A modern day prequel series installment to those first books (Dragon Lords & Lords of the Var®), taking place long before the princes you know and love ever found their mates, long before The Dragon’s Queen, in a time when the dragon-shifters and cat-shifters actually—wait for it—liked each other and hung out as friends. They also don’t have Galaxy Brides to bring them women. What they do have is the old portal that they used to escape Earth. There’s no one left to marry on the planet and things are starting to get desperate. This series can be read as a standalone.

Can’t go wrong here… definitely a must get. Entertaining and romance included makes a deal. The author does not disappoint. I really enjoyed getting lost to the world she created. her story and characters were very well written and developed the results to my liking. Author is awesome and one of my favorites. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Finn doesn’t exactly deny he takes joy in life, breaks tension with humor, and hasn’t rushed towards responsibility, but his home world is changing, and so is he. Sadie didn’t intend to walk into the middle of a situation, she certainly never imagined trying to do the right thing would send her life so far off course, but she’s here now, and she’s determined to figure out what that means. What I loved about this done in one book was these characters recognizing that there’s a time and place for your private drama. It went hand in glove with their needing to fully accept their current situation and deal with it, no matter how tempting denial, or a little mischievous immaturity might be. I was gifted with a copy of this book and chose to share my review.

Prince Finn along with Prince Ivar make an unauthorized trip through the portal. Finn does not intend to return that night. Sadie attempts to stop their fight and gets shoved through the portal along with Finn. Finn does not believe Sadie is his true mate. This is a wonderful story that I really enjoyed. Mischievous Prince is the fifth book in the Captured by a Dragon-Shifter series by Michelle M. Pillow. I just find this time frame in the dragon series super cute. It is so different from the present where Galaxy Brides exists. In this time frame, the Var and the Draig have to use a portal through Earth to find female companions, however they do not know what to expect from the people of Earth so portal is not easily accessible to just anyone. I enjoyed this story a lot. It was short and sweet. Finn is a little reckless and just does whatever comes to mind first but he is also growing up and has a lot of loyalty. Sadie is just so cute and brave. I read this in one sitting because it was just so cute and an easy read. I love all the dragon series and I can’t wait to read all of them! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Prince Finn has his heart in the right place, though he is still impetuous. Sadie is an independent woman, a rolling stone, never staying in one place very long. I like that their attraction from afar doesn’t mean instalove, but fate does throw them together to get to know each other. Portal travel is explained a little more and a big baddie tries to tear them apart. And if like me you have read the Dragon Lord series, you’re going to love the Easter egg at the end. The Qurilixen world is brought to life beautifully. The romance is a slow burn though their sexual compatibility is evident. Present day earth and sci-fi blend effortlessly for a great read. Michelle M. Pillow is a creative writer. Love what she has done with this series. Finn tricked Ivan into going to Earth to find mates. He was planning on staying to keep the portals open. Sadie was a food blogger trying to stop a fight and ended up on another planet. Love how their relationship progressed. His plan didn’t go according to plan. Loved the punishment Sadie came up with for the antagonist.
  • Fun Enjoyable Addition to the Series

Mischievous Prince (Captured by a Dragon-Shifter Book 5) Michelle Pillow Way before Galaxy Brides started bringing Brides to the planet of Quirlixien and the Var Princes discovered loving one fated mate was the way to go, there was a portal hidden in a cave. The portal was the one used by the shapeshifting Var (big felines) and Draig (dragons) to escape the slaughter and oppression they faced from the fearful ignorant humans on earth. Facing the extinction of their races due to lack of females being born, the young male Draig and Var decide to secretly use this portal to bring back mates from earth. The first four books of this fun exciting series take us up to this time when some of the elders fear the humans finding the portal and want to shut it down. Facing uncertain dangers and multitudes of funny cultural and language mix-ups the Var Prince Ivar and Draig Prince Finn secretly go through the portal to find Brides, not necessarily their fated mates but potential women to grow to love and raise families, thus showing the elders the portal will help save their races. Finn has a secret plan to send Ivar back and remain on earth (Mississippi) for a year to look for a mate. Plus the elders would have to keep the portal open knowing a royal prince is stuck on earth. Life is never as planned and Ivar discovers Finn's plot. They fight over Finn staying behind, and in the end not only is Finn thrown back through the portal but when a woman tries to stop the fighting, Ivar sends her through the portal as well to keep their secret safe. Now it is Ivar who must remain on earth for a year (and so the plot is set for book 6). So Sadie, a food blogger from earth finds herself in a strange new world with even stranger inhabitants. To top it off there is a very handsome male (not entirely human) claiming to be a shapeshifting prince named Finn who states she is to become His Mate/wife. Sadie is no shrinking violet goes along with Finn's claiming and can't deny the unexplainable attraction to the man/dragon. Sadie is not some shiny girl who second guesses herself ,it's refreshing to see the heroine as a woman who doesn't deny herself what she wants. A really awesome enjoyable addition to a fun entertaining series. It can be read alone but you'll want to read all the books either way. They are exciting, great world building, hot shapeshifting Princes, witty heroines and a whole lot of humor, and sexy romance.
