Phenomenally amazing follow up to book 1! **You MUST read Dirt before gobbling up Seed** We were left emotionally wrecked at the end of book 1, so naturally I was so anxious for book 2! I needed to know what would of Jack and Laurel...and Isaac. Well it’s hit the fan!!! I’ve never been so nervous in my life! It’s been a while since I’ve read a book with this much angst and I ate every single morsel up! Jack is broken in the aftermath of the wicked ending in Dirt. After a heart to heart with his father Jack realizes he can’t give up and needs to make changes, but first he needs closure when it comes to JR’s death. Laurel is devastated and doesn’t know how to deal. She’s not coping and is lost and lonely. Pushing her to the brink and closer to Isaac. One night. One night is all it takes to make or break her marriage. Grab the tissues and wine...you’ll need it!!!!

I can’t tell you how much I love this book. Seed is book 2 in the Evergreen series by Cassia Leo. I was completely pulled in and hooked with book one, Dirt, and I’m even more vested after reading Seed. Seed picked up where Dirt left off and my heart was beating fast and furious dying to know what was going to come next. I am team Jack and Laurel all the way. Cassia is not making this easy on my heart. I screamed and cursed on more than one occasion. It’s hard to find a love like Jack and Laurels. Get ready because so much happens in this book. My heart rate it’s going up just thinking about it. Prepare yourself for another cliffhanger that will leave you speechless! I need book three, Bloom, now!! Five fantastic stars!!
