I loved the story and writing and voice up until the beginning of the end. Unrealistic

Really enjoyed!

I didn’t hate it? But I didn’t love it? It was very slow at the start and about halfway through it picked up, then it kind of ended with a “eh ok” ending.

I was captivated by this mystery thriller from the start with its vague references to the past and teasing reveals that would emanate a lot of conjure and imagination but I’d always be taken down a wilder twisted dark path where the truth would be thrust upon me with such shock and awe I’d actually gasped aloud a few times. Excellent work!

This book was really good! I would recommend this book for other people but I would warn them that the beginning can be kind of slow! But once the action happens! You can’t put it down!

I really enjoyed Sager’s book “Home Before Dark” so I was excited to read another book by the author. I was sucked in at the beginning but as I kept turning the pages it was pretty repetitive and somewhat confusing. To me, the information was sporadic and didn’t flow well. In regards to the ending - not sure how that could be possible without anyone noticing over the years?! Willing to give Sager another shot but had higher hopes for “The Last Time I Lied”.

I was absolutely GLUED to this book. I wanted to find out who was behind everything. The ending was full of shocking discoveries. I highly recommend this book!!!!

This was a good story. It was really slow at first and some of the reveals were a little disappointing (except for the last reveal). As a whole, it wasn’t as intriguing as I thought it could be. Given that, once we got to the 75% mark things really picked up and I was really sucked into the story. The last chapter was the best part of the entire book. I loved that twist! Overall, solid story but I can’t give more than 3 stars considering the majority of the book was slow and I only truly enjoyed the ending.

This book was so great! It kept me on my toes the whole time. I literally just kept guessing and guessing and was shocked by the ending!!! Such a great read!

A coworker told me to read this and now it’s one of my favorite books. I could not put this book down. Riley Sager knows how to keep you on your toes until the last pages. Can’t wait to read his other stories!

Twists and turns and compelling characters. As always in Sager’s novels, a well-written female main.

I just stayed up super late finishing this book and OMG. What a great read! This is the third book I’ve read from the author. Obsessed!

Superbly written, with teenaged nuances deftly handled. On of the best I’ve read in quite a while

Another reviewer said the ending is “Lifetime”-esque and that MAY be true, but I literally loved every second of reading this book and it kept me guessing until the very last page. I wanted to remain in the world of this book long after reading it.

I read this while camping and it just added to the creepiness.

A disappointment. Really lays a big fat lifetime quality ending egg.
