Good story. Getting too old for all the graphic panting but skimming that part I still enjoyed the story.

An awesome emotional second-chance romance I could not put down! Ashely @ Carolina Chic’s Read This is the start to a wonderful new series about the Remington Memorial doctors. Charlie and Parker were interns together and it did not work out. When Charlie comes back to fill in for her best friend while she is on maternity leave she runs into the one person she didn’t want to see….Parker. What happens between these two will keep you turning the pages as the chemistry is off the charts. I love how Kimberly built the relationships between all the charters and cannot wait to read more about the other doctors in this series.

Incredible second chance romance based at a hospital. First of all, I loved reading about the doctors and interns and how they deal with the daily life of a hospital and the challenging cases doctors face. I was pulled into the intensity and drama that this provided as this story unfolded. Charlie has become a successful surgeon and returns to the hospital where she had started her residency to fill-in for her best friend Tess as she goes on maternity leave. She never dreams that her ex-husband will be one of the new interns that she has to train. Parker had given up on his dream of being a doctor 6 years ago but also walked away from his marriage with Charlie. But did he really? Charlie and Parker have to navigate working together again and just maybe they will finally be honest with each other about the breakdown of their marriage. This is a wonderful romance for two driven individuals with a passion for taking care of people that had found an amazing love in med school which hit a huge stumbling block. The entire cast at Remington Medical added to the drama and making me want to learn more about each of them.

Back to You is the first book in the Remington Medical series from Kimberly Kincaid. It is a spinoff series from her Station Seventeen series. Back to You is a second chance romance and I absolutely fell in love with this story from the very first page. Charleston "Charlie" Becker has come back to Remington Memorial Hospital after six years away to help out her best friend Tess Michaelson while she goes on maternity leave. Charlie left Remington Memorial after her marriage to Parker Drake ended their first year as interns. The only person she hopes not to see while back in North Carolina is of course one of the first people she sees on her first day back on the job. Not only will Charlie have to see Parker while she is in town, he is back in the intern program to finally become a doctor, and she will be his boss when he works with her on her. I loved everything about Charlie and Parker in this book! They had amazing chemistry but were also extremely snarky with one another. Everything they had gone through together in their past absolutely broke my heart. Seriously this book had me laughing out loud at time and crying my eyes out at other times. I loved that neither Charlie nor Parker had ever really stopped loving each other. Yes they hurt each other badly 6 years ago, but there was still love underneath it all. When they finally gave into their attraction, my kindle screen totally steamed up and I loved they couldn't stay away from each other. This second chance romance had everything I look for in that troupe. Super sexy chemistry, major emotional moments, and the satisfying reunion I wanted from the very first page. I'm a huge fan of Kimberly Kincaid and have to say Charlie and Parker are my new favorite couple from her. I loved every moment of Back to You and can't wait to see where she takes us next with the Remington Medical series. Rating: 5 Stars (A) Review copy provided by publisher

✦Review: BACK TO YOU (A Remington Medical Contemporary Romance) by Kimberly Kincaid Publication Date: February 12, 2019 Genre: Contemporary Romance Reviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ Donna Rated 4.5 Stars This story is a great opening to this spin-off series. I enjoyed watching Parker and Charleston’s romance re-blossom amid the hectic schedule of the Emergency Department. It felt new to me, and fun. As for the couple, I clicked with Parker right off. His personality was well-rounded, being both easy-going and dedicated. The established connection with Station 17, also made him feel like an old friend. Charlie was harder for me to connect to. I’m glad her behavior eased up early enough for me to grow to like her, because they made a great couple with a sizzling-hot relationship. Overall, this story pulled me into the world of Remington Medical and hasn’t let go. I’m already impatient for the next installment. *Review copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. ~*~*~*~

This is a fascinating start to a new series, combining characters from two previous series, Rescue Squad and Station Seventeen. It’s a reunion of Charleston Becker and Parker Drake, previously married, things fell apart after a heartbreaking miscarriage. Parker left the program and was a successful medic/ EMT for six years, but being a Doctor was always his dream. He is back for his internship determined to succeed this time. But, in an unexpected turn of events, Charlie who has been practicing surgery in Tennessee is back at Remington Medical to cover for her best friend for 10 weeks of maternity leave. The blending of the characters is seamless, and slow build up of emotion and trust between Charlie and Parker seemed very real. The traumas and actions in the ED were also accurate. If you like medical drama and romance I recommend this series....looking forward to the next book! I would like to thank the publisher and author for the opportunity to read and review this very entertaining story.
