Description

Forget opposites attract. These two loners are both chock full of tough attitude. But now they need each other to survive… Bad-boy chef Adrian Holt never thought he’d meet anyone as fierce as him. Then fate delivered a motorcycle accident and a broken arm to go with his head full of bad memories. He can’t let his ghosts get the best of him now that he’s got nothing but time to burn while he heals. The cherry on top? He can’t stop thinking about the gorgeous paramedic with the razor-sharp tongue who peeled him off the pavement. Of course Teagan O’Malley is tough as nails. Her single father raised her that way. But now she’s got to run his pub with no notice, no cash, and no room for error. She’s got zero kitchen skills, and she’s going to need a miracle to keep her father’s dream afloat. Adrian and Teagan make a reluctant deal that keeps him in the kitchen and her out of hot water, and it doesn’t take long for the sparks flying between them catch fire. But there’s more on the line than their jobs or their hearts, and the danger lurking in the shadows could end them both. ***** Fire Me Up is an updated version of the fourth full-length Pine Mountain novel that was originally published in 2015. This edition has been edited and updated for readability and added steam.

  • Love This Small Town Kimberly Kincaid Love Story

I absolutely loved Fire Me Up! Kimberly Kincaid has once again delivered another wonderful romance in Fire Me Up, the fifth book in her Pine Mountain series. Kimberly Kincaid has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love how all the characters in Fire Me Up feel like best friends and I loved catching up with them! Who does not love hot sexy men, strong, passionate females, and loving friends, who always support one another? Kimberly Kincaid continues to deliver all that and so much more. I really enjoyed Fire Me Up and am looking forward to reading the other books in the Pine Mountain series. Kimberly Kincaid has once again shown that she is an amazing storyteller. Fire Me Up did not disappoint, it was impossible to put it down and love every moment on every page. Fire Me Up is the story of Teagan O’Malley, a paramedic with Pine Mountain’s Fire and Rescue, and Adrian Holt, chef at La Dolce Vita the restaurant at the Pine Mountain Resort. Adrian and Teagan meet following an automobile accident between Adrian’s motorcycle and a minivan. Teagan is one of the EMTs on the scene. Adrian sustains a broken arm and Carly di Matisse instructs him that he cannot return to work at La Dolce Vita until his cast is removed. Teagan’s father Patrick is having some health issues and his doctor informed him that he needs to rest, so Teagan takes a short-term leave of absence from the Fire and Rescue to help with the Double Shot Bar and Grill, her father’s bar. When Teagan arrives the cook leaves since Patrick has been having cash flow problems and his paycheck bounced. Adrian ends up the Double Shot and guides Teagan and the dishwasher, Jesse, how to prepare the bar food. As Teagan and Adrian spend more time together working in the kitchen at the Double Shot things quickly change between them. Neither Teagan nor Adrian is looking for love, especially since Adrian has a history that only Carly is aware of. An unexpected plot twist the relationship between Teagan and Adrian. I love that one of Adrian’s tattoos is the motto that he lives by and that he always calls Teagan, “Red” because of her hair color. I love everything that Adrian does for Teagan and the Double Shot. I loved catching up with some of the other characters in the series. I love the ending of Teagan and Adrian’s love story, especially his proposal. Fire Me Up contains all the things that I have come to love most and expect in a Kimberly Kincaid story, romance, great characters and setting, bittersweet moments and the plot twist that ties it all together. Amazing story. It was impossible to put it down. Highly recommend this wonderful romance.

I loved that Adrian’s Nonna told him to live a life of no regrets. When Adrian meets Teagan he thinks he’s following his Nonna’s advice but Teagan is a whole new wrinkle in that plan. Their relationship is respectful, sexy and filled with obstacles to overcome. This was a great romance with a touch of suspense, which is my favorite.
