TJR is so good at writing books that make you feel such anger, suspense, and sadness. This read was no different. I would recommend to anyone!!Absolutely loved this book!

The timeline was fun, the backstory of the parents helped to build the siblings bond. I did wonder about the detail given to some side characters later on, but it’s makes the ending more memorable. All in all great book. Highly recommend.Great read

I could identify with so many elements in this story as a native southern Californian who grew up during the same years. I felt like the author truly understood and was able to write so eloquently about what it was really like back then and similar hurtful experiences, pain endured, and growth enjoyed during those years. I loved it and, for some reason, my soul feels cleansed. The ending was perfect!Good but…
