Reviews
Reads like a draft.
1By Mike, Plymouth MITo much of the book feels like an outline of ideas with intentions to expand on in a later revision. I still enjoyed it.So great!
5By DanielntlionsWhat a wonderful piece of historical fiction! Certainly worth the time to read. Crichton is as masterful as ever, even posthumous.Read it. It'll be one of your favorites

5By Mica2005Excellent read. You are captured by the story almost instantly, drawn in by the adventurous characters that joyfully stir your imagination. If you are at all a fan of the expeditions of Captain Jack Sparrow then you will enjoy this book.Great story
5By kingdamodmvLove the book. Have been a fan of Crichton since Jurassic Park and his stories still capture my imagination. Not Great
2By Church42Much too short and something I don't think Michael Crichton would've had published. There just doesn't seem to be much transitioning between events in the book. The book almost seems geared to teenagers if you take out some of the adult events. Save your money and let this ship sail.
