The movie heavily focuses on dinosaurs and I loved it as a kid but this book is about the hubris of man in trying to control and tame nature. Technology advances that haven’t improved quality of life for people, yet we laud them as our saviors. Living in the shadow of AI, this message rings especially true in today’s day and age. Personally, I even thinj if you have watched the movie first, and then you read the novel, you'll like the novel so much more! The way that Michael Crichton describes and fills you in on the general science of paleontology is a great part of the momentum of the story!A masterpiece!
