5By GaroujI wasn't sure I would be interested in a novel which included time travel, but it came recommended, and I do like thick novels , so I began with Outlander, the first of the series. I thoroughly enjoyed it and all the rest of the series. Great character development, a riveting story line, historical relevance and two-continents of action made the series a wonderful time-consuming read. Diana Gabaldon is first on my list when e-shopping or store-shopping for books to read at home or while traveling.
