Paolini’s 2nd book of the Inheritance Cycle) is an incredible second part of the thrilling, epic adventures of Eragon in Alagaësia. Just like the first book, Eragon, I had a hard time putting down the book. I followed along with the Audible narrator, Gerard Doyle, who is by far the best narrator I’ve ever heard!! Doyle gave life to Paolini’s characters making this incredible tale even more remarkable! I would definitely recommend not only this book but the entire series!

This book tells a very well a woven story and I absolutely loved it. Chris's writing really lets your imagination go wild (and make you want to punch whoever made the Eragon movie) It is a must for fans of adventure. I recommend you read Eragon before for the best experience

This book is part of the best series I have ever read. If you are even reading this review and looking about this book, think no more and read it. It brings you on one of the best adventures ever made, and leaves you with some withdrawal once you have finished the series.

I couldn't tell you how many times I've read this book and as many times I've read Eldest, it has never gotten old. Hail Eragon Shadeslayer and Saphira Brightscales!

this book just has too many characters and lag. They go to one town and it takes a whole chapter to describe it. Not a book I would recomend.
