Description

This is an interactive ebook for a series on modern world history for high school students and teachers. This volume focuses on the Industrial Revolution, including sections on pre-industrial society, causes and innovations, effects, and responses. Unlike almost all other textbooks, high school teachers wrote, designed, edited, and published this text to engage students in an in depth analysis of the story of modern world history. Please email vcleary@bcp.org. Feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks. We will continue to revise and update the ebooks in this series.

Although stocked full of information, the book over all was rather overwhelming and lacking in interesting subject matter or sentence structures.

Most textbooks are boring and make me want to gouge out my eyes, but this one doesn't bother with useless information. Only one error that I found. It's great.

I've always hated history because there's too many things that you need to understand to get the idea of what's going on. I still dislike history, but this book sums up everything that I need to know without giving too much information, so it's a lot easier to understand.

Overall, another great book full of content that is presented in a way that makes it easier for me to understand the material. Since you created the book, it goes along very well with the in class activities and this way I am able to understand it better.
